SET FREE THE ASCENDANCY POINTS (or rework the lab) [New ascension methods/lab rework ideas]

You are almost completely excluding people that just like running the lab.

Also Im pretty sure that GGG can get actual stats on how many people pay for the lab, and how many sell the runs, we don't actually know how big of a deal that is compared to the whole population.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

No, I'm not. I'm saying GGG has no hard stats on how many people like/dislike the lab. NONE.

Btw, I highly doubt that GGG tracks currency exchanges among people, even if such tracking would be useful in determining the above (it wouldn't).

Much easier to just look how many people run the lab solo and how many in a party. Will give a rough estimate.

How would information on going through the lab/trials party vs solo determine if people hate or like it? It cannot.

Yeah, of course it wouldn't. Good thing the topic wasn't about that at all, right?

I never said that they had hard stats, just that they have enough data to have a basic idea of whats what, at least they can interpret it, we can't.

We're not going anywhere lol, I say we have nothing, and GGG have something.
Thats something is likely not enough to you, but that .... we cannot know for sure either.

Unless GGG are mind readers, they can't interpret anything at all. They have exactly as much information as we have. Probably less, because they don't ask.

Many of us (excluding GGG of course) have asked. Out of the players I have asked, 75% hate it.

Completely wrong, maybe you should read the last page to keep yourself updated before throwing something like that, it's really, blatantly, ridiculously wrong.
Not surprised.

And your circle of "friends" to whom you asked could not matter less here.

It's 100% correct.

And I ask randoms in game.

I don't doubt this one bit. However, it unfortunately can't really be considered very valid data. The problem is that when doing polling it can be extremely tricky to get accurate results unless more formalized methods are used. For example, I've asked about a half dozen the question. All responses indicated that they hated it. The details are though that actually one person asked me and he hated it. The "question" I asked the other five was really along the lines of, "Sorry I can't trade now, I'm in labyrinth and hate it.". Two responded with sympathy they didn't like it either and three didn't respond. The point being that this kind of information is classic anecdotal that is prone to subjective opinion interpretation.
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!
