Labyrinth,the worst content ever made in POE?

I was not against the first 3 labs and I still am not.That being said my interaction with the endgame labyrinth has been a collection of feelings I have rarely felt toward PoE content before:first it was frustration with the long trials sometimes needing to join someone else to have the last ones you need,the it was anger caused by dying to certain trial gauntlets and later on after making my first 2-3 attempts at the lab,then it was desperation because i was doing everything right with my build but realising izaro is mostly physical damage started to sink in the fact that maybe CI was puting me at a disadvantage in fights and geting 1 shot from across the room while trying to shut off a conduit or something didn't help,last was hopelesness when I finaly made my way to the final room fight and I saw how tiny the area in which I'd have to fight was without any life pots or leech.But all of these did not make me quit trying they just made me want to beat uber Izaro even more until I finaly did it in a room that i can only describe as a tiny spit of land not much biger in witdh than the elevator that brings him up with bladed sentries around and lava trap covering the rest of the floor.
Now I'm just thankful for the first 3 labs being much more accesible and easier after seeing what the uberlab can do. As for HC I did do all the 3 first labs on my first ever HC character in flashback and did each in their respective difficulty normal before normal malachair cruel the same and merciless slightly overleveled for the zone,so I cannot relate to anyone saying the first 3 labs are unfair and impossible. |

Let me first say that I DO like the labyrinth, its ascendancy reward, and the concept behind it. However, I do have to agree with the overwhelming majority of posters in this thread that traps, while a good concept, are entirely too brutal to be the "secondary threats" that keep you on your toes while navigating the labyrinths (ESPECIALLY the Uber lab trials; Why are some of them 3 times more deathy, if not as long, as the Uber labs itself?).
Add to this problem that fact that some builds cannot complete the trap portions due to lack of; health if they play ES builds, run speed if they dont passive for it, virtually forced use of movement skills, and a number of other issues. I have to ask why GGG did not play test this content a bit more before releasing it? I doubt there would be any lack of volunteers just from the dedicated players who bought a supporter pack before release, let alone an open recruitment for a closed testing beta. I also think the enchant mechanic should be changed to give a choice of randomly picked list of enchants (say 3-5) from the total so that you don't spend 80-200 runs trying to get one you can use, let alone the one you want. " ES is affected qt 60% of its value, it is definitely doable for an ES build. All good builds are using movement skills anyway, and quicksilver, and movespeed boots, no need for more. My main concern is he visibility in the labyrinth and the uber trials, you sometimes ( often ? ) cannot actually see where you are going, on very long patterns. It is probably a design decision though, I'm just not a fan of it ( arcane vision really made it better for low life / Hybrid builds though ). SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

It doesn't matter what build you do it in. You still have to do it to get ascendency and it's boring as fk. That's the real problem.

I think I might be officially done with Hardcore leagues on account of Izaro just being incredibly broken. No matter how much I overgear or overlevel for it, I *always* have to pay someone richer, higher level, and more invested to clear Labyrinth for me--even normal. He's just a one shot fest and that's not fun at all.
