Donald Trump
" The delusion in the last batch of Trumper posts is absolutely off the charts. I actually laughed out loud at seeing multiple people blame Democrats for problems like racism, completely ignoring both the reality of today and the realities of historical politics. You're aware that all those shitty, racist people in the Democratic party transitioned directly into Republicans, right? To be fair, we all know that Trumper ignorance and delusion are off the fucking charts, so no, you're not actually aware of that. Like most facts about reality, you're utterly fucking clueless about it. Scrotes, you are living in a magic fantasy land here. The free market does not solve our problems. For evidence of this, we have the wonderful example of history, where we can look to see the free market causing a tremendous number of problems. The government has to step in constantly to fight against problems like child labor, rampant poverty, racial persecution, and so on. Remember when Trump was rightfully sued for racist, discriminatory practices with his apartments? Yeah, in a true, free market "utopia" like you want, racist pieces of shit like Trump and his Trumpy followers screaming "Heil Trump" while throwing out Nazi fucking salutes would not be held in check. Non-whites would have shittier lives and many fewer opportunities, especially in Trump's America. Corporations will not save us. The rich elite will not save us. They will not, in a truly free market, suddenly have their hearts grow by three fucking sizes and start building daycare centers for their employees and paying for paternity leave. They will fire pregnant women, they will not hire brown people for good jobs, they will sure as fuck not pay fair wages, and so on. Competition has not in the past and would not in the future solve these problems. Remember all those incredibly shitty things that happened to workers in the past? They're the direct result of the free market you so strongly yearn for. Ditch the magical thinking. Last edited by Jennik#1783 on Dec 18, 2016, 4:53:18 AM

"OH NO SHIT?! Jesus, I had no idea! Hey, someone better tell black people quick! Fuck outta here with that dumb shit. Everyone knows this. Everyone also knows what happened in the 60's (unless you happen to be reading a Conservative History Book, with that pesky decade conveniently removed) "Yet, it took the government to sort all that out. Funny how that works! You know whats amazing about some of those pictures? Some of those people are still alive at this very moment! The black people, and the whites who painted those signs. Did you think they weren't salivating at the thought of Free Market Jesus telling them they can just go ahead and be monsters openly again? Did you think that shit would just magically stop at private enterprise? Oh, surely racist people will just run businesses, and *not* run for office. Certainly they wouldn't join the police force, either! Definitely wouldn't return the South to an era of fear and hatred and violence and oppression. It is absolutely worth all that to slake your personal thirst for ideological purity. What's amazing about you is that all you need to disprove your totally reality-free view of things is a goddamn history book. You don't even have to go that far back, just a couple chapters. Or, is history Fake News now? A comprehensive, easy on the eyes loot filter:

"If by that you mean Strom Thurmond is the only shitty, racist person, then yes. Because I dare you to find one example, other than him, of a Southern racist politician who switched parties. (From Democrat to Republican. Interestingly, Hillary Rodham switched from Republican to Democrat post-Johnson.) "And government will? One key problem is that, through lobbyists, the elites and the corporations own the government. Yes, even the Democrat half. Why do you think "free trade" means "crony capitalism?" They're not the same thing at all. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. It's interesting to see Jennik getting away with constantly openly insulting several people in this thread. Our side is at least being subtle with it lel.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Just like the German xenophobic ultra right wing party AfD, they also have an ultra-neoliberal economic program. They don´t give a damn about anyone, they just need some sheep to vote for them. Eventually voters might notice, they´re better off with left wing politics. --- http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-38344175 (David Remnick: Why Trump’s win is ‘an American tragedy’) Last edited by Schmodderhengst#7293 on Dec 18, 2016, 12:08:25 PM

"I found that article very... odd. So I looked up neoliberalism at Wikipedia and found out that, basically, the term "neoliberalism" means whatever the fuck people want it to mean (as long as it's short of full communism); it's not really a shared ideology if you're listing Ayn Rand and Noam Chomsky as intellectual leaders of it. But it seems to be based basically on market forces, which tends to align with what I believe... which is awkward, as I've been criticizing it. When I've used the term "neoliberalism," I've meant it in the sense of "neoconservativism in foreign policy, leftist in domestic policy." But if you look at the Wikipedia for "neoconservativism," it describes the origin of the term as identifying "socialists for Nixon" who "still endorsed the welfare state, but not necessarily in its contemporary form," an idea "rejected by libertarians and paleoconservatives." So I want to apologize for using the wrong terminology, and allow me to correct it: Obama and the Clintons are neoconservatives, just like the Bushes were. In that article, if you read it understanding that "neoliberalism" basically means paleoconservativism minus most of the religious bullshit, and drop the absurd white supremacist bullshit, then I think she's right that Trump will be one. But I disagree with the idea that Obama and the Clintons are of the same cloth. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. " I once took a look at the Wikipedia entry for neoliberalism some time ago in the beginning of this. From my perspective this term is equivalent to predator capitalism. The article might sound odd to you, but using nationalist mobilization to keep "the losers" quiet is nothing new. That´s how authoritarian leaders succeed nowadays. As I have told you in the beginning of this thread I used to live in Israel for a year in the 90s, what the author is writing about, was a development I experienced then. Trump will make politics for himself and people like himself, if people get poorer, he´ll blame others for that, while billionaires like himself are directly responsible. https://www.theguardian.com/books/2016/apr/15/neoliberalism-ideology-problem-george-monbiot Last edited by Schmodderhengst#7293 on Dec 18, 2016, 2:04:52 PM

" [Removed by Support] " Of fucking course the government saves us from those predatory business practices. Don't be so oblivious. The government passed child labor laws. The government passed minimum wage laws. Damn near every protection we have from the pervasive predatory business practices of the past came from the government. Is the government perfect? Of course not. But it's a damn sight better than counting on the billionaires and corporations to take a complete 180 from all of observable history and suddenly look out for the best interests of the people. If you'd rather stick with your wishful, magical thinking about the wonders of the utopian free market, there's nothing I can do. You are for some reason utterly unwilling or unable to accept the reality of history. Work on that. Only you can fix that blindness. Last edited by Nav_GGG#0000 on Dec 18, 2016, 2:55:56 PM

Scrotes, a question:
In your free market utopia, there will be minorities all around the country who live in areas where they are not accepted. Some are black, some are Muslim, some are gay, and so on, and they will be persecuted due to these traits they possess. This is inarguable. It will happen. What is the benefit that so outweighs this suffering that you're willing to throw them to the wolves in exchange? What do you believe we will gain that makes their suffering worth it? How much would they have to suffer before it was no longer worth it? When a black man can't get an apartment in some parts of Alabama, or a gay man can't get a job in most of South Carolina, what exactly is it that white people like you are gaining that makes the suffering of these other groups worthwhile? |
