Cheap, Tanky, DPSy: Summon Raging Spirit [not updated for 1.3+]

some questions. playing beyond
1) what is better - aura alpha or just solid head with tanky zombies(hp+res supports and maybe splash)
2) list of purchase - +2 fire gem staff--howl(if i decide too) -defiance? should i buy def if i can affor solid chest?
3) leveling - flameblast untill echo and multi, then srs and searing bond?
4) atziri foible is viable?

Hello, quick question: does %spell damage and %fire damage from gear affects SRS? Also, if I have a +2 fire gems staff is it worth using Added Fire instead of Melee Phys in a 4L ?
Guys is the 6L mandatory to farm atziri or can it be done with just +2 fire/cast speed 5l staff? Also the flask setup should be set exactly as yours or the lvl 70 pots should be used?

I got the build to level 72, it's simply fantastic. The DPS can fight on par with my level 85 GS Marauder (His GS is at 18k DPS).

However, I am trying to fit in MF gear in the build. Do you think that would be possible to do so and continue being viable ? With my current MF gear, I hit a wall at level 70 maps. The damage is definitely fine, but leap monsters simply destroy me.

Right now I am rolling with andvarius, goldwyrm, goldrim, perandus belt, aurseize, eye of chayula. I am trying to find a good balance between IIR/IIQ and viability in higher maps. Not sure which item I should replace, but the andvarius definitely makes it much harder. I am using Cloak of Defiance with a 5L +2 fire staff also.

Not so good for Atziri fights . Once you die and come back to finish trio/atziri you just wont have the time to cast SRS . I got no problem with vaals and trios but when i get to atziri her dmg just rapes me i got about 6.5k hp+es . Fire dmg is too much withouth PoF it becomes even harder. Maybe i cant finish her because im lvl 88 atm and gems still not lvl 20 (lvl 19 atm +no empowers) .

I don't think the damage calculator is accurate. Cell C122 adds up the "more" multipliers instead of multiplying them, which means Melee Physical Damage contributes way more DPS than it should.

Melee Physical Damage contributes 50% more damage, and Multistrike has a 36% penalty. The spreadsheet calculates this as (50% - 36%) = 114% multiplier. The way it should be calculated is 1.5 * (1 - .36) = 96% multiplier.

This effect is compounded as you add damage penalties.
Penalty from echo: 10%
Penalty from melee splash: 30%
Penalty from multistrike: 36%
Bonus from melee physical damage: 50%

Spreadsheet multiplier: 1 - .1 - .3 - .36 + .5 = 74%
Actual multiplier: .9 * .7 * .64 * 1.5 = 60.48%

I'm almost positive that this is how the mechanics work, otherwise GMP + chain would result in a skill that deals 0% damage (or even negative damage if you add more penalties). Please correct me if I'm incorrect, as that would mean that my personal spreadsheets are wrong.

Yea I have been trying repeatedly to kill Atziri (lv 19 gems,+2 6L staff, 6.1k hp+es). Haven't had so much luck even after watching the runs and reading the tips. I guess I am not doing something well enough. The whole map is fine until the mirror phase starts and then I just go derp.

Pre charging and swapping vaal haste gems and switching to a single target gem setting is absolutely mandatory for split phase unless you have L26+ SRS. Like this.
