St. ELMO's Fire (Dual Totem, Dual Curse, EE, Fire Trap Templar) NERFED :( RIP build

Finally lv40, now I need to work on getting spell totem from quest reward soon.
I got 667 hp and 585 es, still surviving like a boss.
BoomExplosion - Templar (BOOM!)
_Sistar_ - Duelist (currently rerolling him)
FakeShooter - Ranger (meh LA, iceshot rangerrr)
FakeMaster - Shadow (might start when I get everything)

wrath both look good now
wrath only works vs attacks. We are using spells so wrath is useless for us.

Notes:
I finally found a 5 link armor. Once I added elemental proliferation to the arc... WOW! World of difference.

I also switch out my speed flask w/ a granite flask that has speed. So now it can serve 2 purposes. I attempted using 2 granites, but I had to spend more time managing my potions and I really didn't need 2 granites. I may switch out one of the hybrid flasks with a mana flask that has extra charge recovery / movespeed.

Love this build

Currently Doing a similar one, though I run 2x Fire traps with added Chaos and 2x Bear traps with ironwill/added fire.

I am current trying to hit 4k hp as I picked went more spell block route (Saffells flame)
I estimate around lvl 72-75 ill be able to double curse, which was my plan.

I was also going to run remote Mine + GMP + chain + fireball or artic breath

Just to be safe.


I invested more time in trading, aquiring certain gear.

2x Fire traps with added Chaos

Added chaos does so little dmg vs fire trap that its not worth it for the mana.
Firetrap + Iron Will + Increased Critical Chance + Increased Area + Conc Effect + Reduced Mana
That is the best order for supports for fire trap. Iron will especially.

I found bear traps to be pretty useless except for the very last boss piety.
When triggering EE and with Iron will Fire traps do more dmg than bear traps, and it bombs the whole area. Zombies and totems create enough of a diversion to keep you safe.

Remote mine blows. I tried it. It leaves a mine where you stand. You cannot throw it. I decided to take this out of my build as increased critical chance seems better suited anyways.

If you go dual totems spells such as fireball no longer do any damage.

note:
*I also added 2 more videos. I finally figured out how to combine videos on youtube so now they won't be only 5 mins long! YAY! Tonight I'll try to remember to add the Nightmare map I did. Players cursed w/ enfeeble + 23% monster, run, attack and cast speed. It had the lunaris temple enemies and necros w/ skellies. skeery!

I got lucky and found an elemental weakness.

If you don't have elemental weakness, I would just not curse them at all. Conductivity would help get them shocked though.

if you really need firetrap + ironwill + crit + area + conc seems to be overkill.


I am just using 2 firetraps with added chaos in a +2 fire gem wand and they are doing 1900 dps atm.

thx for the vid but i have one problem with it :) i cant hear you :) sound from the game is too loud.
but just one Q here: what is the level of your gems for auras + tempest shield pls ?
+1 more - ive noticed your ES is around ~300, isnt better to use EB for +300 mana ?
