St. ELMO's Fire (Dual Totem, Dual Curse, EE, Fire Trap Templar) NERFED :( RIP build

I'd like to know if you level your tempest/auras too.
What you think of Divinarius for dagger?
(50-70)% Increased Spell Damage
(80-100)% Increased Critical Strike Chance for Spells
10% Increased Radius of Area Skills
this seems good.
BoomExplosion - Templar (BOOM!)
_Sistar_ - Duelist (currently rerolling him)
FakeShooter - Ranger (meh LA, iceshot rangerrr)
FakeMaster - Shadow (might start when I get everything)

that dagger is godly if u are lucky to get good roll IMO, it has all u can ask for as an end-game item i think (running with those 2 daggers can be interesting)

Why do you not take EB?
1.) less chance of being stunned
2.) I've had lag spikes and had less than 300 life remaining on 3 occasions so its worth it.
3.) I think the 5 points to get there is better of than getting more mana.
4.) Mana isn't a huge problem yeah I run out, but I just pop a potion and I'm fine.

Going for EB would be a fairly big buff to your hp since you can run with Discipline which and you would most likely be able to switch out grace for Determination as well. I haven't come that far on the build yet, so I can't really say for sure how the mana pool looks like but the points for this would be unlockable from the 6 15% res nodes taking in the marauder tree since from my experience getting resistant capped in the end game is not "that" much of a problem. And the scaling from Determination specially if you stick to a shield will outperform grace with alot.

As I said Im not sure EB will make Determination an viable option since the mana cost for totems and spamming traps might be to high.

P.S Really nice build have been interested in something that uses dual curses, Thanks for sharing it.

WOw those stats seems like the perfect dagger to me. Prolly super expensives but definately something to aim for. I haven't really looked at all the uniques but I probably should!.

I did level auras. I kept clarity around level 7 to keep the mana cost lower though.
I like using grace for the chance to evade and its basically double that chance that you won't be crit. Which is nice. I decided to go with discipline instead of tempest shield. I got sick of recasting tempest shield.

*note:
I get alot about people talking about blood magic and eldrich battery. Go for it. I am just not a fan.

I got eb with my fire trap build
I also don't bother with dual curses, windshear boots is a much better investment then 9 points IMO, due to the fact that there are tons of curse immune mobs. I find i am able to kill them before it is even viable to double curse (due to the 2x totems + 30% Chance to shock etc)
I went with more HP/Minions to gain a bonus to the 33% fire damage zombies that constantly explode on maps.

I am capped at 88 resists all
5k hp
1300 Mana (400 when reserved) 120 mana regen
2k armor
5k evade
+ 1 run enduring cry if i really neeed the physical %

What is your DPS on your firetraps?
What type of map is the hardest for you?
When did you start mapping?

feel like I want to invest in getting extra minions for extra tanky. Also I realize I won't have extra socket for another curse. so I decide to use elemental weakness instead if I find one from drop.

got this nice wand from quest reward
BoomExplosion - Templar (BOOM!)
_Sistar_ - Duelist (currently rerolling him)
FakeShooter - Ranger (meh LA, iceshot rangerrr)
FakeMaster - Shadow (might start when I get everything)

What is your DPS on your firetraps?
I think around 1.6 k. I haven't played in a week so don't know the exact number. This build is great becasue you don't need good gear, my gear is crap at the moment.

What type of map is the hardest for you?
I ran into a really hard one where I was cursed w/ enfeeble, and monsters had 30% more life. That map was a beech because it was also infested w/ A3 mobs and had a rare necro and skellies too.

When did you start mapping?
I started mapping late I think at lvl 72. I wanted to make sure I had 15 maps in my inventory so I will not run out of maps once I start mapping and won't have to bother trading for maps either.

shouldn't need another minion. I leveled up my minion life gem to 20% quality which is prolly why mine are a bit tankier. Try to level a raise zombie to quiality 20 too for more!

got this nice wand from quest reward
nice I think its better than my wand.
