Having a hard time in merciless with this spec. Overall there is definately potential for it but trying to get gear to suit it is just insane.

" Its not that hard. Get your core 4 links, add high evasion items and max resistances. Just make sue your defense is fine, since your DPS will raise due to passives, not gear. When you hit that point, you are kinda fine. Make sure, you have the right flasks. Well i have the 4 links and resistances are almost there. Dps is rock bottom however, mind you i'm only lvl 60 at this point. Also I went blood magic early with passive life regen and have found very little life leech gear.

Lvl 64 now and owning it up like a boss, this build is insane. I also only have 2% LL as of now since I can't find any decent gear that has it on.

Did a complete gear overhaul since most of what I have found leveling has not been decent for this build. Sitting at 7% life leech now with 20.6 more life regen(even though the majority of the items i replaced had life regen on them and the gear i have now does not), up an additional 600hp, and a little over doubled my damage on dualstrike with cleave doing +430 dps(but I was also able to put culling strike on cleave due to extra links). Resists are still low and I don't have any granite flasks yet so merciless still hurts but I can at least solo most of it now if i'm careful. Thanks for the advice. Now show me the way to 20k+ dps.

thanks for those updates.
i just ding level 40 today, heading to blood magic (not there yet, need 3 points i think). by the way, i'm actually out of mana in 9/10 cleave strikes. so i'm a little bit worried about blood magic.. if it does the same with life.. it's going to be complicated (even if i coupled my cleave with life gain on hit atm). any hints ? on when i should take blood magic ? or what did i do wrong ? (dual strike is OK, not using a lot of mana while gem is level 10) thanks ! |

Stack hp to maximize troll blood effect, so your life reg will pay for your spell cost due to blood magic.
