Regnar/Ceto's Ranger Dual Wield Sword Build - Full Guide/Compendium by Ler -Videos included[0.10.2]

I have to say that this build is awesome. However, I have a question on how you handle auras when you are soloing and with blood magic? I see in the video you run with a buddy who has the auras but I do not really see how you can manage solo.
You listed grace, wrath and anger. Grace and wrath alone would reserve stupid amounts of HP so I'd really like your comment on that. And if you advise to not use blood magic when soloing, how do you cope with mana issues?
hi,

this build seems good, i'm actually level 30 and it's fine, except i'm in paper.

by the way, which level are your gems at ?
do you stop them at a certain level ?

if so, on level 30/40, which level would you recommand for gems ? (particularly main ones)

thanks
*UPDATE*
- Added new section (8 Additional Information)

try to get 4 Link cleave culling strike, concentrated effect and faster attacks,
Also try to get 4 link dual strike with faster attacks, melee physical damage and life gain on hit.

For solo, life gain on hit is much better placed on Cleave, since you'll be hitting many more targets, thus returning more health.

also, warlord mark is insanely good so make sure to ALWAYS cast it on mobs, you get mana leech, life leech, AND end charges...

I dont have all the gems yet, but my setup around level 40 was like this:

faster attacks->cleave->life on hit
added cold damage->dual strike->faster attacks

As far as mana issues, I'm using a level 6 or 7 clarity gem. I havent taken blood magic yet, and I haven't needed to since clarity gives me just enough regen so that I can constantly use my primary damage skills (dual strike + cleave) without ever running out of mana.

I wont be using clarity forever, obviously... after I take blood magic I'll drop it, but I honestly dont see myself needing to take blood magic for at least another 10-15 levels.

So really all you need is Warlords Mark, Cleave, and Dual strike to make this build work with the passive tree given. Any support gems is just for added efficiency.
I'm kind of confused on the gear section , did you really mean +armour? isn't getting evasion better as we change it to armour anyway , but we get a + evasion node and no + armour nodes.

Also on the gear section for the belts , a +35 strength belt actually gives +7% physical damage and +17.5 life. It greatly outclasses a +5% physical belt , which is really only for non melee physical builds.

*UPDATE 1.04*
- Updated Gear Section - Added Evasion Rating to all armor pieces and changed belts.
- Updatded Addition Information: Added Life on Hit Calculator

If you choose armor, high armor and or evasion or evasion only is the same. Just make sure, its high due to physical damage reduce.
I didn't figure out, what is best for late late game yet.

Actually since we get +% evasion from one of our passive skill tree nodes and from dexterity , getting evasion armour pieces will give us way more armour compared to actually getting armour pieces. We should have close to or over 250 dexterity by the endgame , which is an evasion increase of over 50% , U should try changing a 400 armour piece by a 400 evasion piece , you'll see your armour going way up.

PS : I'm currently a lvl 69 ranger with this build. Back when I started with this build I also had to look in the comments for all the information , thanks for putting them together here

Honestly the best setup for maximum DPS for certain skills would be as such:
Dual Strike - Melee Physical Damage, Added Fire Damage, Faster Attacks
Cleave - Melee Physical Damage, Added Fire Damage, Concentrated Area of Effect

With 5Ls or 6Ls you can attach Life Leech to Dual Strike and Life Gain on Hit to Cleave. A 6L would slap on a WED for max damage.

I wonder if the Punishment curse would be viable in this case, kinda like straight-up offense type. (On the assumption anyone has found such a skillgem)

Here's my take on this build, but it uses 99 points for the complete vision:

I personally believe the starting melee nodes of the Ranger is utter crap. You can get more bang for buck by taking other clusters like Gallantry and Cruel Blade.

I cant see any %Armor increase from evasion in the build?
So what you are saying is not correct.
Same goes for Agility. %Evade is converted into evasion rating and evasion rating is converted into armor. There isnt any increase anywhere.
The only possibility is, that 400 evasion rating will be converted into more armor than 400 armor itself.
