So Hegemony is a nub and has no idea what he is talking about? He explicitly said that this boss is not among the worse bosses and is basically doable if you don't suck.

Armor doesn't stop 90% of the damage from massive hits yes but I think you don't understand that having zero armor and having 13k armor makes a very noticeable difference no matter what the scale the hit is. Just because it has reduced value the large the hit is, doesn't mean it stops being mitigation against large hits.

If you are running AA and think because you have AA you don't need armor, you are very much mistaken and will die to physical damage soon enough.

I didn't say hegmony is a nub, I don't know who hegemony is and I don't care. My witch has iron reflexes and armor. Most people who have MoM have iron reflexes and armor, the two keystones are right by each other. You're making dumb strawman arguments so I'm going to assume you're either an idiot or a troll and I'm not going to respond to you further.

I just died to apparatus at level 58. This is my last try in invasion. My last RIP was at level 78. I got 2 shoted from off screen. I poped all my instant heal potions on the first shot then boom dead in 0.5 sec. This is absolute bullshit. There is no way to justify this. Doing so much damage from offscreen is unacceptable.

They will not drive people to normal hardcore or ambush, they will drive people away from the game and not in a good way. Ladder reset with a fresh start is important, especially with the hardcore community.
I myself find these types of posts cancerous; people fail to realize that GGG closely observes not only streamers but also their own experience within the game when they test the game out at headquarters, give them a break their team is small and they work their behinds off.

I feel it would be very prudent to lower the insults down a notch. I understand some posts are the result of a bad day or simply alcohol abuse or the infamous "trolling" but the bottom line is they bring the community down and start to turn it into a place like the LoL community where everyone writes "LOL" before their response and proceeds to insult other players calling them names while simultaneously infecting everyone else with the internet rage rabies.

For the sake of the community this type of forum post and other posts like it are just pure bonkers. It feels like a debate Glenn Beck would have with some equal rights activist on fox news, there is simply no valuable input to be had.

The bottom line GGG is very well aware of the current state of the league and they are most definitely brain storming ideas on how to make certain encounters behave different but yet make the league extremely difficult, its only one mini expansion out of many (hopefully).

I find the current state of the leagues fine, as CharanJaydemyr said there are high levels on the ladder already so the game isn't impossible just insanely difficult. Maybe its best the hardcore league was so hard that it's just a bunch of level 90-98 ripped exploiters and RMTers on top of the ladder to show how pointless the competitive aspect of ARPG's is. I mean if the top players of PoE are just going to exploit and RMT and sell top 50 Atziri kills they deserve to rip at an insanely high level.

Maybe GGG is doing right, maybe the hardcore league should be like this. We all know they care more about the quality of the game than the dollar sign so maybe they don't want the money of the raging 15 year olds; to weed out the raging rift raft and get the community back to where it use to be, where forum posts are intelligent and provide useful feedback and the criticism was constructive. Not like what this bologna is where every forum title is "WTF I was so tanky and this slut one shot me" or "got killed by desync games broke" or "GGG PLEASE".

PS: you know who you are and you should be ashamed.

Superioritycomplex/10
GGG has thick skin. They can deal with harsh and negative feedback. Unless it is absolutely excessive, there is no value in deleting or preventing harsh negative feedback.

If you do not allow people to express themselves fully by telling them to be 'polite' and not act like a "raging 15 year old" (again, superioritycomplex/10), then you cannot accurately gague how strongly these people feel towards things.

There will always be at least one person who will present everything in a rational manner. You need the people who are a bit more emotional to give you an idea of what that type of player is feeling when they play. Not everybody experiences emotions and events the same.

You are no better than the posts you claim to be cancerous because you immediately go to assuming that they are either stupid, trolling, intoxicated, or children, when they express their opinion in a way you don't like. Unless there is something inherently detrimental with the way they express it (such as absolutely NO feedback on WHY they feel that way, or telling players to stop whining or "bashing" the league), then the limit for reasonable expression should come with TRULY immature behavior like allcaps (You can still express frustration and even anger without allcaps or shouting), ignoring logical reasoning, massive context bending, and refusing to acknowledge applicable additional information.

Which is exactly why they need negative feedback, otherwise they have no indication of what to change and cannot prioritize changes based on the severity of reactions.

Oh yes the good old classic free speech for all stupid and ignorant people response. Just like a KKK rally at an Obama speech is dangerous, this forum is dangerous to the PoE community. We want to encourage mature and smart people to join the game, not be discouraged by a forum full of savage teenagers.

Also good job destroying your credibility with asinine comparisons and inability to see middle ground between "Fully rational" and "raging teenager".

6.5, good effort but you made it too obvious too fast that you don't actually believe what you're saying so it burned out what could have been a full derailment if other people got involved.

Welp, I just got one-shot. Fairly low level character, level 53, but fairly tanky for that level, with over 3K HP and max resists. My only problem with the death was that I was travelling south, where my character can't see two inches in front of his face. If you're going to put mechanics in that will instakill me please give me the ability to see a threat in front of me from every direction.

Most excellent troll, you had me all the way down to the mental image of a hardcore league "so hard that it's just a bunch of level 90-98 ripped exploiters and RMTers on top of the ladder". Right, so if anyone wants me, I'll be ripping in my bunk.

The fact that I'm only alive in Invasion because I had lucky invasion boss RNG makes me a bit sad (my gear sucks so I could get oneshot in no time by most of the bullshit bosses). But I still have fun playing it, I want to see how far I can push.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
For what it's worth, telling a player to stop playing invasion is not inherently bad.
What is bad is when you tell them that they should stop playing and not give feedback about the experience they had when they were playing.
