Invasion League - Ghost town. Looking forward to new 4-months hardcore league
What is constructive about doom and gloom posts talking about how GGG ruined the game and Invasion is a ghost town?
What is rational about picking out 6 words out of over 200 to place out of context to fit your argument? There are two hardcore leagues and two softcore league. If a player doesn't like the new rulesets they can opt to play the other version of their prefered league. If the player wants a fresh econmy they can opt to change from SC/HC leagues, as you did. There are options. If you don't like something, GGG isn't saying take it or leave it. You can as a player make the choice to play another league. "Don't like it, don't play it." That being said, at not point did I say feedback on why you stopped playing Invasion is invalid, in fact, I said the opposite. It is surely something GGG would love to hear. GGG has server stat logs fed to them daily. I'm sure they know how active Invasion is without a post on the feedback forums about Invasion being ghost towns. |

Your point about context would apply if it wasn't for the fact that when you check the context, my statement remains valid.
" If players that don't enjoy it don't, as you so eloquently put, "bash" it, nobody will know how many people dislike it which makes it extremely hard to judge whether or not it's implemented in a positive way. " This is where your argument falls apart. We DO have an interest in playing Invasion, which is why we voice our dislike for its current implementation. " So you honestly think the best course of action is 1. See post you don't think is constructive 2. Lower yourself to their level Brilliant. |

" ... i rip'd at 76 in a 67 map before in invasion so i was there man. but you totally missed my point. Its about number of people playing not whether i like/dont like the game. Numbers are far, far less than what was on Nemesis. i actually fucking love this game, thats why im checking everyday if the invasion bosses been nerfed yet so i can return to 'challenging league' not 'lazily designed league' i think this game is by far best aRPG game out there, its just it made few hiccups out there -- Point of Feedback section is for people to state their feedback, you should allow both positive and negative. People leaving the game without saying a word why they did so is the worst thing that can happen, i actually care more about the game than u do by giving them accurate feedback so they have something to work on. Thanks, Michael. Last edited by ElveElve#1657 on Mar 23, 2014, 1:22:19 PM

" I played nemesis without any problems. Only overtuned mod was storm herald (I still skip storm herald to this day) and otherwise I thought the league was great. Fractured, volatile, hexfont, corrupting blood, all those mods were really great additions to the game because they were fatal, but counterable. In the new league almost half the new bosses will kill you before you have a chance to activate any counter-attack mechanism, and they just pop up on you while you are leveling. There's realistically not much you can do to avoid dying other than just hope you have good RNG and logout immediately if you see flicker spider, judgement, tittybitch, etc. It's not really so much that it can't be done, just that it slows progress and restricts build options to the point where the game no longer becomes fun. Remember, it's still a game. You're playing it for fun. You want a challenge? Those bosses still exist in corrupted areas. But forcing people into IC templar builds that have to log out every 4th map is just making the game more tedious than it needs to be, and it isn't difficulty as much as it is just annoying. Ambush is a great league though, anybody who doesn't like nemesis I really strongly recommend you try ambush, even though it's not the HC league I'd like it to be it is still amazing fun and a well done league. my evasion is so high i only insta rip sometimes
----- Bug Fixes: People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. Also, we went ahead and made cyclone great for CoC casters while we were at it. |

I didn't mind storm herald because I could always see it coming, and it doesn't really have instagib potential unless you get close to the mob

Wait let me find that quote.
Edit: Found it. " Glorious times. I'm a forum warrior, i was born to post, raised to defend my league. Now my post has been removed, chained and exiled by mods who Ban. Ban is my brother; i do not fear it. I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. It will take me to play the actual game when i am ready and i am not ready. @ChallengeLegatus1982
Nemesis was easy. -Corrupted blood was beaten by a single flask. -Storm heralds was a game of learn to kite. -Fracture was only deadly if it was a grappler. -Hidden Treasure couldn't fit into Domination so sneaked it's way into Nemesis. -All other mods were trivial for the vast majority of the time you encounter them. Oh noes!!! Look out! It's Viletouch!!! >.> I am glad you like Ambush. @ElveElve More people dying and quitting in a harder hardcore league is shocking for what reason exactly? Players don't enjoy being punished yet this is the driving focus of a hardcore setting in an ARPG. High degree of punishment for making mistakes, losing your character. I have fought and killed every single Invasion/Corrupted area boss in the game now with the exception I think of the devourer boss which I just can't be arsed to hunt any longer. There is no instant killing boss to those that play Invasion properly. I say this as a living working example of someone having fought the vast majority of these bosses without dying. A lot of these bosses can kill me and regularly on an almost daily basis I have near death encounters with these bosses. Why do you say my feedback is less accurate than yours? Because I'm in the minority that plays this league without thinking the rule set has to be nerfed into the ground for it to be fair? I don't enjoy dying in hardcore. I love doing stuff that might get me killed. So this makes me a crazy nut job who's opinion is invalid? You aren't looking forward to the next 4 month hardcore league because unless GGG caves into player demands, the next league will either be just as nasty as Invasion or worse. |

" Credibility: Zero. Make posts without egregious exaggeration and then get back to us. If you are incapable of thinking outside of the "Has to stay the same or it will be nerfed into the ground" mindset, that means you are currently unwilling to discuss middle ground. That is the definition of extremist, and extremists are known to give consistently inaccurate feedback. Last edited by Xendran#1127 on Mar 23, 2014, 2:38:28 PM
