Incident Report for March 20 Downtime

Ohoh Jonathan..... That means around 5pm my time and i wondered why the system was throwing me out constantly....

So I deleted all of the game and now downloading again. Hope it will run after download.

LOL, shit can happen, no need to put ashes on your head, its just fine to write in the forum that sth was going definitely wrong, we are all human beings :D

( if things don´t work after download, hope it will be ok to send a message to support - while you will be --- hopefully --- sleeping deeply and quietly :) )

It didn't even affect me too much, but by gods thanks for being awesome GGG. Level of customer support, transparency and communication makes me feel like a partner, not a cow ment for milking and discarding! I wish more companies were like you guys, well played indeed.

As a US citizen, and living on the East Coast, I didn't even notice as I was sound asleep at 2:30am. lol


But as a supporter, there's reasons for that... the main one is that you're constantly working to make a great product and often times don't get recognized for that effort.


So when things like this happen, I'm so glad to see the people here posting positive things unlike other companies where it's all pessimistic and downtrodden posts. The reason for this is you guys are open and honest about what really is going on and you have gained the trust of your player base.


I applaud your ethos and your way of getting things done. Also your expectations for your staff and officers are top notch.

This is simply amazing. I need to get back into this game. Obviously you guys give a crap about your players and the game. Don't be so hard on yourself and the company. We need you with a nice, level, calm head. :D

The downtime for an entire year is less than the average weekly downtime of "other games".

This "other game" can't even figure out how to have just 1 or a few games effected, so the other games connected to "othergame.net" aren't effected. And the "other developer" have ridiculous amount of funding, personnel, and experience to draw from. This has always utterly confused me about them, and directly effects my choice in game to play.

Weekly 8+ hour downtime, compared to 1 hour downtime once a year = POE wins.

Sounds like you need a third sys admin :) I am always available and willing to relocate to NZ.
