Such a profound apology for a 50 min downtime AND a report on the issue?! You guys rock! But seriously, you don't need to apologize at all, shίt happens,we all make mistakes every now and then and, if that was your slow reaction, then DAMN was it lightning fast or what? In other F2P games (<--figure of speech,lol) I've seen downtimes of several hours without apologies or reports given, so don't sweat it. You just gave me another reason to keep supporting this game, as if there weren't enough already! |

Could have blamed this.
Could have blamed that. Could have said a small dog ran away with their hat. Could have told us it was really an undersea cable. Instead they let us know why they were not able. Aw yeah. Not my worst poem, but close. Thanks GGG. You are now Distinguished in Sailing!

No need to apologize for this! This game has very little downtime, even with the numerous patches. Shit happens. If you really want to make it up to us, you can increase everyone's drop rates for 24 hours... j/k

And players think I am crazy for suggesting that GGG wants to promote personal responsibility...
Just look at the level of personal accountability and responsibility they apply to themselves. Owning mistakes/oversights/issues, accepting that they happen, working like hell to fix them, and doing everything in their power to avoid them in the future. EFFING HARDCORE! Less than an hour of unexpected downtime, even if for something that could/should have been avoided (according to GGG, I am not pointing fingers or being accusatory), is, IMO, totally acceptable given the insane amount of server uptime on this F2P game. The only downside to all of this is that I am going to have to try and talk the wife out of some more cash so that I can provide some more support... |
