Don't get me wrong we have seen some interesting results, but the fact
you can destroy a 6L seems to me stupid Even destroying a unique is stupid. The worst you could get SHOULD BE JUST : Cannot apply more orbs on the item/unique. Want to YOCO your 6L voltaxic ? => You got a 6L voltaxic who can never change colors anymore. You want to YOCO your 6L vaal regalia mirror worthy item ? => You can never change colors or mirror it again. " I very much agree with this idea. Losing sockets is a horrible idea as this in itself destroys the item no matter the stats. Vaal Orbs are about Item Stats and Socket Colors. They are not about Links. They cannot improve links so they should not mess with them. Uniques I am torn, I do think that the best thing is to leave them untouched, maybe increase the probability that it does nothing. |

" Same here, spent around $250 in this game. I have 2c, 3 jewelers, 1 chrom and some other odds and ends of orbs. Buying MTXs doesn't make a person an orb farmers. As predicted. The orb farmers are out in force today. They're selling corrupted gems for 10ex each. So they go farm with massive item quantity and turn normal gems into 10ex while the average player is trying his first gem on his cool bow only to find that it breaks it irreparably. So far, this is going really good for us normal human players!

Lmao, hell no it's not worth that much; not in value nor in utility.
<thread-hijack> I saw another orb farmer selling a pair of ES gloves with ~230 ES, ~25 Rarity and 18 Quantity for 108ex. He went directly on my ignore list. Orb farmers should all be banned so we can get a normal economy with reasonable prices for items. </thread-hijack> |

" Why though when it is the system that GGG has intentionally fostered for years now? Aren't they pretty much the poster child that the system is working as it was always intended? Not bashing you, just curious because the game seems designed specifically for that activity and not doing so seems to harm the player significantly. At first, I was hoping it wasn't real and it was player trolling with "bad rare" corrupted with MTX Skin from Legacy Item.
But it's real. And GGG still doesn't said anything. IT MUST BE A BUG. It's impossible otherwise. Right ? Right ... ? |
