FISHING ROD ( HOW CAN I USE IT )

I've argued back and forth with monsta in a few threads but what he says about this is true. Only one per league per account.

Interesting side note: Go back to the last thread where we discussed this (it's now locked) and find the guy who said he was going to test my method and report back, PM him and ask him how it turned out. Unfortunately he was unable to report back in that thread because it was closed, but his result may surprise you (hint; he did what I said, and got a rod very quickly).

- Eternal a Farigrave's tricorne, and farm while wearing the tricorne and carrying the eternal imprint
- Type #jabberjawsyoloswag in global chat at the start of each new instance
- Carry a feather in your inventory when you farm (I don't know if more feathers = more chance, I use a stack to be sure)
- Chant "monstamunch is awesome" while you grind
- Run in three small circles around the waypoint each time you enter a new instance.

One of those things isn't actually true and I just put it there to troll you and test your common sense. Another one of those things will make the difference between it being possible for a rod to drop, and not being possible (outside of Coward's Trail)at all. The other things will increase the chances of the rod drop, ultimately bringing the chances from being extremely slim, to being far more reasonable. There may also be additional steps one can take to increase the chances of a rod drop that I'm unaware of. I don't claim to know everything.

Right, I have a lot of time on my hands because I give answers to posts where people are asking questions, yet despite your busy schedule, you took the time just to come and insult me. Really bro, who's wasting time? You just said reading my posts was painful to you, and you obviously knew from the title of the thread that I would have hijacked it by now, so why did you even click on it?

If you think fishing is a troll, just stay away, simple. Only one golden rule; don't come back asking for answers when you realize it's legit. I won't help you.

Cool story. Your verified fish is very cool. Oh, wait...

Tsk Tsk, you were AFK for the fishing opportunities this weekend. We might try again once the SoTV excitement settles into a steady feeding frenzy. I think we'll need about 60 exalts of crafting currency for the next fishing trip. I can't recall who got the shark, but will look through the logs so we can try to get them to post it.

All hell will break loose then.

Yes a Fairgrave's was required, but we did something different rather than eternal with it. An eternal should still work, but I find it unusual that GGG would make it the only recipe for this.

Fishing involves bait...

Trollbait.

...more than likely.

This as a topic has been trolled to death, and there has yet to be any proof of an actual use.

If you have lots of free time, explore it, maybe there is something to it.

Odds are you'll be chasing the dragon, so don't feel sorry for yourself when it likely leads to a dead-end and extreme burnout!

You're loaded.
But if you must know, I thought to myself, maybe MonstaMunch will actually realize repeating himself over and over in response to questions regarding fishing is getting stale.
I have nothing against you Monsta. It's just hard to read through your fishing mumbojumbo.

No idea what you mean by loaded in this context, though I probably don't want to either. Again, the whole fishing thing is only "getting stale" if you're so slow that you haven't realized there's some truth to it yet, for the others it's still quite interesting, as evidenced by the countless PM's I get every day thanking me for the solid results people have got from following my methods.

I've tried your method (except for the feather, can't afford to buy one and i didn't get a lucky drop yet either) and as i am not sure whether i have enough common sense or not i did everything at once (except for the feather obviously). Still, i didn't find a fishing rod yet... :(

Is it possible that i am running my circles in the wrong direction? I'm always doing it clockwise because my logic tells me that running counter-clockwise would only make the time until i find the rod get longer and longer but maybe my aforementioned possible lack of common sense got me fooled here?

Please help me, i don't want to screw it up just by running in the wrong direction but i'm afraid that by just trying my luck with running counter-clockwise (which actually doesn't make any sense!) i could make things much, much worse...

Really, i need help and i need it very fast, my neighbours already threatened to call the cops if i don't stop chanting in the middle of the night(*)... :/

(*) Obviously chanting during daytime wouldn't work because magic never works when there is daylight involved! (I probably don't have to mention that but on the other hand the fact that fishes exist shouldn't have to be mentioned either and still there are people who doubt their existance...)
