A rod had already dropped for me in standard, you can't get a rod to drop twice in the same league on one account, and I couldn't chance the rod I had into SotS, so there was no choice but to buy it. All these people trolling claiming that rods have no use meant that the guy I bought it from had no idea of its real value, and foolishly sold it for only one legacy Kaom's. I just know that people who have followed my methods have pretty much all been able to find rods within a few hours (the most recent being TerrorNacho, took him 3 hours), then none of them ever found another one again on the same league.
