" And if it will be, I'll be the first to dance on your bones, naysayers. | |
" Just like the loot change was never going to happen |

" No, thats not the same. At least NOT as a player who cares about ladders. With this argument, no HC ladder is needed. Simply delete your char if it dies. I like to play ladder - but not with different preconditions. Last edited by Partypapst#3836 on Feb 7, 2014, 5:49:33 AM

" It was a big factor for most people - the forums was flooded, it was a topic that was discussed on other forums "great game, but it's pretty annoying that you have to fight over loot". SFL isn't a popular idea 500-1000 people have been writing on the forums for a year now. That's not enough to implement it. Danskere: PM mig, hvis I har brug for en guild.

Can't please everyone and when you try you end up pleasing no one. IMO GGG has right idea. Hard complicated game, some will love it, some will hate it, but at the end of the day it will provide a place that matches with a certain subset of players who will be very happy. Rest can go play diablo 3, torchlight, or something else and be happy there.

" I have no Problem with this. I do play D3 (no ladder, but selffound viable) and PoE. Thats ok for me. |

" That's the pb, you could easily please everyone with different leagues, instead of just waiting for those players to go to another game. That's the beauty of the league system. It's a shame not to use it. It won't "split the player base" if "only 500~1000" player wants it. But it will keep those players active on PoE though : maybe they will race with the others, maybe they will keep other chars on 4 months hardcore league while they also play their long-term self-found char, maybe they will keep giving money to ggg which they wouldn't have otherwise, etc. It's juste a wrong move imo to not give something that *could* (we aren't sure yet, but it's a possibility) HUGELY entertain a big population of the players, and prevent them from quitting on the long run ; and doesn't have any big potential downside. Moreover so when the ONLY argument that Chris gives in his interview is "sfl would be detrimental to the gamer's feeling because when they drop a good item that doesn't fit their build they wouldn't be excited because they wouldn't be able to trade it"... As for "it'll never happen", yeah, maybe, but that's not a reason to stop fighting for it if we feel it's retarded not to make such a league. Moreover so when I see such threads, with good arguments for the sfl, and only stuff like "you can play sf already" or "it'll never happen so stop asking" against it. Chris: "Path of Exile’s economy is the most important element of the game to us".
http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/55102 Too bad they don't see how good the ARPG element of their game is... |

" Then play in the 4 month leagues, those are as fair as it gets. Same thing as before, dont trade, dont take items from others. SFL would divide an already very divided playerbase even further. |
