@N00bish
That bow is terrible. 1.15 attack speed is horrid. Attack speed is most important on your weapon, because it acts as your base attack speed that all other modifiers are applied to. Try getting a Grove Bow with 1.55 attack speed. You should also not be using Pierce till you at least have the 35% passive and preferably when your pierce gem gives 65% (level 16 with 20% quality). Switch out Pierce for faster attacks or faster projectiles. @Seabreeze Anywhere the mobs resist the element you deal the least damage with. For example, I deal mostly Fire and Lightning, and very little cold damage, so I farm Fellshrine where everything has cold resists since it doesn't hit my DPS hard. Besides that, just stick with the standard easy areas (Ledge and Fellshrine). In-Game-Name: Lezli

Lezli are you maxing out your Skill Gems? Or are you lvling them to a certain lvl and not lvling them anymore?

" Thanks for the reply. That makes sense anyway, it's what I have been doing but I was just wondering if there was any 'special' areas that I had been overlooking. |

Edited first post. I'm already at 2k listed DPS on my Split Arrow, so am changing the level 70 skill tree to have slightly less elemental damage in favor of life, since my gear is pretty bad (half of it is blue items), so I can't imagine anyone getting to 70 and needing that +30% elemental damage asap.
@SneakyFingerz I always maxed out my skill gems, even before they scaled properly. Now that they do scale properly in later levels, the only reason I could think of to not level them is if you don't have enough of whatever resource (life/mana) they reserve to be able to use your skills and survive. I have another question.
Well 2 actually. Is the weapon elemental damage gem really that powerfull if you have bow with only one, or maybe 2 elemental damage sources? With the passives +gem you're at what, 150% maybe? But if your elemental damage on weapon is only about 150 (one or multiple types), this would only increase your damage by less then 250? Isn't it better to get a high phys damage bow, and then using a fire damage support gem? (which will also be better with ll) Or am i seeing this wrong? Secondly: for 5link mainattack you suddenly switch from split arrow to frenzy with gmp. Why is this? Isn't the damage reduction of gmp awfull (i suppose the 50% is both physical as elemental damage)? You can keep up your frenzy buff (once gotten) by firing one frenzy attack every 12 sec, and then continue to use split arrow with the speedbuff. Split arrow at high level is 5-6 arrows (i think), and your gmp would be 5 as well. Or does the damage modifier of frenzy negates the damage reduction of gmp? Could you link your current bow btw? I'm curious about the damage and the elemental mods. |

Hey Lezli,
You should put in main post wich bandit rewards people should take. Cheers! |

Hey there,
I'm level 33 at the moment. I have a 5l bow with 1,4asp and using frenzy, loh, pierce, elemental damage and gmp. So the skill costs 49 life and I just have 650life. Should I remove some gems? If yes, which ones and at how much life it works better? /edit: And why are you using "iron reflexes"? So my eveasion = 0? @Evilknivel
You shouldn't be using a 5L at level 33. You should be using 1 socket per 10 levels, so for you, 3L. That means Split Arrow, Life on Hit, and Weapon Elemental. I use Iron Reflexes because I want the damage reduction it gives me. I prefer consistent damage intake as opposed to sudden spikes of damage in take, which generally gets one killed. @Adanedar The build is not so rigid that you need to take any specific bandit quest rewards. What you take should be largely determined by your gear at the time to try and cover whatever you seem to be lacking. I can manage lacking stats fairly well, so I get the skill point twice and the Frenzy Charge in merciless. @Unalacrima You should have whatever gives you the most damage on both of your rings, your amulet, and your gloves, as well as on your bow, whether its flat physical damage or elemental. This is a hybrid build; I'm not sure about you, but I'm not rich enough to by picky about my gear, so I need to be able to take advantage of whatever good rolls I get. Right now, I do just over two thousand damage per second, with about 20% physical and 80% elemental. The reason we switch to Frenzy+LMP/GMP at 5 links is because that is when adding another support to Split Arrow wouldn't give us very much. Frenzy charges only give 5% attack speed per charge globally. Frenzy gets an additional 17% attack speed per charge at level 16 with quality, meaning we would be giving up 17*7=119% attack speed, and the big chunk of physical damage the skill frenzy gives. GMP also gives increased projectile damage before it applies its 50% less projectile damage, meaning the damage hit isn't as extreme as it may seem. In-Game-Name: Lezli

Hmm i see your point about frenzy in 5L. Forgot about the speed of the skill itself.
Are you saying the damage on rings/gloves/quivers gets multiplied by weapon elemental gem as well, or am i misunderstanding? I thought it would only multiply the elemental mods on the bow. Thanks for the insight :) And yes, i've been quite lucky, so i can buy largely what i want, but i'm not sure what i should be looking for in a bow, and how much to pay for it. Finding a decent 5 link (armor or bow) is a pain as well :p About the bow, i know i should be aiming for the highest speed as possible, with high ele dam and/or phys dam. Ele damage bows are quite rare and expensive, since there are alot of elemental ranged builds unfortunatly. Hence my question of maybe tuning it a bit more to phys damage. |

@Lezli Thanks for the fast answer. So I'll try it with only 3L used and go back at 50 to that :).
