Hi,i love ur build and i think it's great.Now i'm entering the stages of the game where i can get 5 linked stuff and i managed to get a nice 5 linked evasion chest and 5 linked bow.
But your skills are like this : Main Skill: 2L - Split Arrow + LGoH 3L - Split Arrow + LGoH + Weapon Elemental 4L - Split Arrow + LGoH + Weapon Elemental + Faster Attacks 5L - Frenzy + *LMP/GMP + LGoH + Weapon Elemental + Pierce/Whatever (LMP/GMP = Lesser/Greater Multiple Projectiles)(LGoH = Life Gain on Hit) Single Target Skill: 2L - Poison Arrow + LL 3L - Poison Arrow + LL + Weapon Elemental 4L - Frenzy + LL + Weapon Elemental + Faster Attacks 5L - Frenzy + LL + Weapon Elemental + Faster Attacks + Faster Projectiles (LL = Life Leech) Other Skills: 4L - Reduced Cost + Wrath + Anger + Grace 4L - Summon Skeletons + Spell Totem + Increased Duration + Minion Life so i got a couple of questions: It says your main skill is 5L - Frenzy + *LMP/GMP + LGoH + Weapon Elemental + Pierce/Whatever (LMP/GMP = Lesser/Greater Multiple Projectiles)(LGoH = Life Gain on Hit) but then when i look at ur single target skill you have another frenzy? so should i go with double frenzy but both with different gems? one for aoe purposes and one for bosses/single dmg And why did u go with summon skeletons/spell totem instead of the reduced cost + hatred + grace? together with the reduced cost anger and wrath? Or perhaps even the projectile weakness skill on a spell totem instead of the zombies? i dont see them being very efficient for a ranger. Atm I am using this build and double frenzy, one for aoe on for singel target.
The summon skeletons spell totem is great for distraction and using too many auras with blood magic is costly on your max health. The increased attackspeed is very high on good late frenzy skills. Erm... WooT ?

I thought I'd point out that it is not logical to take the skill point reward at the bandit quest on normal if you then proceed to use skill points to take +6% all res passives. I also have a question about perfect aim. Since the build is focused on elemental damage, how big of a deal is the physical damage part? How does the equation for damage (dealt to enemies by the player) look? What is the rationale behind not going for the 12% physical damage increase from the bandit quest on cruel? Thx a bunch, |

" As far as bandit rewards are concerned, you are encouraged to choose the +Life reward on normal, the Skill Point on cruel and the Frenzy Charge on merciless. " Perfect Aim adds to the total damage of your projectiles, not just physical damage. It works for elemental and physical damage alike. Very useful. " This build stacks elemental damage, not physical. The skill Point reward on cruel is the only way to go. BTW, many thanks to Lezli for introducing this build. Someone asked if this build is eligible for new players. It absolutely is! I started off my ranger as a new player with no gear and it has been a blast. Some bosses have proven to be fairly difficult to beat solo, so I use summon skeletons AND decoy totem to manage them, or get a friend to help me. The build shines in group play anyway, and there's no real reason to play solo. |

Thinking about trying this build, anyone have any side on ele vs pure phys?
It looks like this build could work as physical dmg over ele. I dont like being so weak against resis ele dmg mobs. |

I also found that in doing so you get 9 % more attack speed and save a few life nodes if you dont get that 30%ele dmg.

" well, i am currently 62lvl with no 5L or 6L gear. i use the blood magic passive, and hence i cannot use Hatred because of too much HP loss. i find that without Hatred, the physical damage done is enough to yeild enough lifeleech to get by when i get 5L and 6L gear i'll switch to a mana build and use blood magic only for my attack skills. then i'll be able to sustain Hatred and see if it hinders lifeleech too much |

Using 5l Frenzy atm and I'm having trouble maintaining my life with LGoH, is LL any better or is this build just generally life/mana intensive?
Also, use WED when Frenzy is physical based? Wouldn't something else be more beneficial? (also interested to see results of BM gem for attacks and stacking auras, be sure to post once you've tried it out^) |

I suck at math, so was hoping the OP could help!
I'm currently using SA + Chain for my AOE and I find it does excellent damage, albeit at slower attack speed. I am wondering about using Frenzy + GMP as a replacement and if it would do comparable/more damage. I do have level 18 SA though, so I'm firing 6 arrows all chaining for 18 hits total, vs the 5 hits of Frenzy/GMP. |
