Please tell me what part I dont understand? I still dont understand what you think I dont understand lol

The way that armor scales, the way that different defensive and offensive elements interact with each other, etc.

Im pretty much immune to stuns, its the main weakness of high hp low resist builds because its based on x pysical damage not % life damage like chill, shock etc. Enjoy being permastunned because you do not have enough DR...

And why should I not have 90% DR? Check the video it says 90% and if I need I can get my armour ALOT higher but I haven't noticed any difference in damage so far.

And on the life leech, 360 per second IS MORE THEN ENOUGH to survive with 90% reduction!

My ground slam does 2.5k physical damage per hit, with an attack speed of almost 2 per second. So with carnage heart I leech more then enough :)

Whoa, here is a quote for you bro. Meaning you got it 100% backwards.

The formula used for determining whether or not a stun occurs is:
stun_chance = 200 * damage / defender_effective_max_life

Using the Carnage Heart is bad for you just FYI, because you leeching back more than you can regen. Even if you only hit 1 mob with your 2.5k per hit at 2 per second. Thats 5kDPS and your 1800HP means max you can get 360HP/s and you are leeching back 500HP/s Which is pretty low. When you consider other builds of high HP can get over 1k HP per second. Not even counting what if you have 20% P reflect from a map? Or a Mob Aura? Or Both. You will kill yourself.

You have shown many times of how bad you fail here, and I think its proven the point of how good HP is vs armor. Thanks.

90% displayed means that you have 90% DR vs WHITE mobs your level. Nothing vs extra damage, or blue/rare mobs, or bosses.
DR is figured vs the damage they put out. I bet you cant even take 1 hit from Brutus on Cells without damage mods.

I know exactly how armour scales the formula (charArmor)/(charArmor + 12 * takenPhysDamage) ( + endurance charges ofc ) is the main reason why I started this thread.

And what wtf you mean with the 2nd part?

In the formula the *damage* part is the damage you actually take after reductions? Which means you get a lower chance to get stunned the more armour you got. But also lower chance to get stunned to more life you have. But what Im saying is that people with 6k hp and almost 0 reduction will get stunned more often then someone with 1200 hp and 90% reduction just do the formula? 200 * 100 / 1200 = 16.67% chance vs 200 * 1000 ( 0% vs 90% ) / 6000 = 33.33% chance = double chance to get stunned. I have a very high hp templar on my main and he never gets stunned because I ALSO have a huge amount of armour. I just know people who refuse to get high armour and they get raped 24/7 because they get stunned or run out of flasks.

On the carnage heart:
I only used it on my previous build ( alot more hp and even more armour ) and because I only need like 1% lifeleech to max out my lifeleech with 1.2k hp I took my demigod amulet.

If I failed its because I wrote it wrong, not because I failed myself. I know how the game works, I have seen how the game works and I know how to play. You should see my word document for my work on making the perfect shadow build, I'm pretty sure its 100% right and I will show how epic it is when open beta starts. I calculated what the best ratio would be for dps/armour/energy shield passives.

Now please leave me alone and go back into your cave.

You didnt know that until i showed you. And it proves almost everything you say wrong, as well, so i don't see why you would make a thread that makes no sense and contradict yourself in it?

Again, no idea what you are talking about bro, what is your problem? Ofc I knew the formula, what makes you think I didnt? Its on the wiki since july, wasnt really hard to miss it... Especially after looking for it after I almost got oneshot at level 50 while it said I had 90% physical reduction, this was on a character who i made in probably july as well.

The fact that you thought you had 90% DR.

I do have 90% DR, just not against high hitting enemies like brutus and vaal which I said 10 times now. I can pop granite flasks all i want in level 60-64 maps and nothing changes.

And you think that that does work against high hitting monsters? You will die horribly unless you got 6-7 endurance charges or 5 granite flasks. 500 life a sec + life leech + potions is retarded compared to the same amounts but with an extra 10k armour which you can get easly.

Blue mobs in maps hit high enough for you to still not have anywhere near 90%.
