As a guild supreme leader of the 648 bazillion microbes currently living under my ball-sac, I over ride your vote because my rule has majority.

I could care less about legacy items. Let them stay in, it makes for a nice antique feel.

Your constant "ima gonna report you sucka" response could be taken as a threat and also violate the TOU. Sounds like bullying to me.

I disagree. Not just with your petition but also with your responses, lack of openness and general attitude. Add that to your vote tally.

Beautiful post. That first line gave me a solid lol.

I rarely post on these forums although i regularly follow whats happening, but after reading all these 17 pages i feel like i have to express my opinion.
About the legacy uniques, i dont own any, but i couldnt care less if they stay the way they are, im pretty sure these will be disabled in pvp and those who still feel it should go, i assume, just jealous.

About the op, this is General Discussion, you cant just go and start a "petition" with "do what i say or else i tell mom" its childish and your so called serious thread loses ALL of its seriousness And crediblity.
You should think about it Azarius, you cant expect to be taken seriously if you keep acting the way you do.

I agree. No reason for all this drama when the only gain is nostalgia at best.

In D2, the .08 items were actually both OP and best in slot.

The drama here is fueled by ignorance alone.
I'm starting a petition in this thread to lock this.

Quote this so you can make history.

You are putting words into my mouth. Please refrain from taking cheap shots that are not necessary and also violate the ToU. You are trying to demonize me. Please stay on topic and keep it civil.

I disagree. And to dispute your whole blackmail scheme, I highly doubt 300 people will quit on the spot because their guild leader made them sign some phony thread.

Take a breath and enjoy legacy items as a piece of game history. Knowing there are legacy items floating around actually excites me. And if you're that worried about legacy items in PVP (which I guarantee they won't make as big of a difference as you think), do as others have suggested and PVP in temp leagues.

Edited for civility.

I played D2 since D2 classic and took a big break in the middle, like years long, and then came back for sometime after LoD came out and I always thought the legacy items, like 1.08 uniques, were cool as hell. They add to the history of the game. I hope Wilson & Co. doesn't succumb to this ridiculous uproar like they did when they implemented Eternal orbs (horrible decision there).

I disagree.

For the casual player these reasons you give are irrelevant, as a casual player can not be competitive in this sort of game. Believe me I know, I am one of those casual players. The economy, the ladder, PvP, all of it. the casual will be at a disadvantage in all of these situations because of the very nature of the game and while legacy uniques do nothing to help that situation they do not add to it, nothing noticeable will change for the casual player these items will be expensive and OP but so will any other unique in the game in the eyes of a casual player. No casual could ever hope to have 30 exalts to trade for anything. In fact someone who claims to have 4 Koams Hearts is no casual and has no business speaking for casual players. I am a casual and I am realistic with my expectations other casuals are not and this is why so many are so angry over this. Their envy, jealousy, and greed are overriding their common sense. I know I will never be able to compete in this game, so I don't. I play on standard were I get to keep all my stuff and I don't have to worry about resets. Someone having a legacy item will not affect me in anyway therefore it is my opinion to let them keep them.

Very well said. I agree with your disagreement. I play HC and feel the same way.
