1st: You lied in the original post by showing 6 Koam to gain credibility...and then when called out on it you dodged the question by saying "read the OP" or "read my response" where you, again simply dodged the question.
This behavior makes your entire argument/petition/whatever this is invalid. No one is going to believe someone is "speaking on behalf of hundreds" when they will so easily lie about their vestment in the subject to gain ground.
2nd: Quoting false rules and regulations of the terms of agreement will get you nowhere. It may get you laughed at...but GGG surely isn't going to start banning accounts because your getting your feelings hurt over people figuring out your a fraud.
3rd: GGG intentionally made 2 sets of play-modes to fit both types of play styles - Casual (being standard) and more-than-casual (ladder). If you feel that you need a fresh start then join the ladder...your items and character shifts into standard at the end anyways so you, literally, lose nothing by doing this.

This is their game...and they have ALOT of other ARPG games to learn from...and they STILL made this decision. I'm sure they know what they are doing and the direction they want to go in. Not to say they don't listen to feedback...but not "zomg rage face me and my 3(00)friends gonna leave if you don't do what we want).

This issue has come up ever since the implementation of the Silver Branch Bow. IMO that excuse is moot. Some people even inadvertently squelched those of us who spoke out back then, but now more and more people feel like we do.
I'm sorry but facts aren't 'excuses' and they can't be 'moot'. Facts reflect reality, you can call it whatever you want but at the end of the day, facts tell it like it is.
There are 17 hours left on the clock. GGG has stated it takes 12 hours to change a unique and nerf it. There is not enough development time to put this change in place for release in such a way that it won't require the 12 hours (and it's probably longer now) per unique to fix them. This means that fixing all the legacy items would takes days as the 'best case' outcome of them deciding to fix legacy items. They will not take down the game for days to 'fix' legacy items. These are the facts of the matter.
Legacy items are happening! :D
I'd also like to add that my guild of 800 members has 750+ people that believe that legacy items are fine. I think it's safe to say that I speak for all of them so feel free to add 750 downvotes for your petition. Maybe make a special note on the front page. Thanks a lot!

Some great men become great not because they are great for what they are then or now or will be, but they are great because of the choices they make. Sometimes the impossible is there for those who realize that it signifies how bad they truly want something. Obstacles will always be there, but it's how you approach them. Say there is a boulder in the way of a stream, and most of us say we have to hit it head-on, crash our ways through it. However, some of us realize we can 'flow' around this obstacle and retain something more to be utilized in our conquest for doing what it is we are supposed to do. I am not here to tell anyone what to do; we all have our autonomy, and the choice is yours to be made. I honestly came here today trying to do what my grandfather would want me to do. Yes, even a damn video game. Sometimes the little things we start with lead to the bigger things we end with. Can you go have a look at the terms of use? People disagreeing with you, saying that you are making things up, that you are attempting to force a change by threatening to quit, and so on, are not violating it in any way.
I Disagree, talked this over with my 800man guild and our majority vote was for leaving in case the designers destroy the items we've worked so hard for.

It was the manner in which some of them tried to approach the matter that violates the ToU. Please reread the thread from start to finish. I am the initiator of this thread, and I have read everyone's contributions. I am also well aware what the ToU entail. I have been squelched temporarily for lesser things compared to the comments that some of the users have posted here. While I admit I can be out of line sometimes, I have never been to the extreme that some of these people have been as of late. However, it's not my place to decide whether or not they are punished, I merely reiterate what's already set forth in the stipulations by GGG. I assert that when people act accordingly (when they act like yahoos), they are either lacking information for what is deemed right or wrong by the ToU, or they are another type of people I would not like to discuss as I would like to refrain from being lured into further discussion that takes away from the point of this thread.

Bare in mind that if you read the OP, you will see I am not counting the numbers from my guild. We also decided today that this petition will be for the GENERAL public and not just about one group or guild. We are trying to arrive to a conclusion that is fair to all. If you have 800 guild members, feel free to have them post here, or you vote will only count as one. Again, I reiterate the following: My guild vote total is excluded from the vote total in this thread, this is about the General public and not just one group/guild.
