Sure, you are amassing opinions but to what end? Just as Charan said there is no time for this change to be implemented. This is a huge waste of time for everybody involved.
I find it offensive, and I believe others do. This is a serious thread, and from the onset I said this was a thread about ONE ISSUE in particular. People are to VOTE via a PETITION. I can't believe how many times I have to reiterate this.
Regardless, the rules can't cater to everybody's triggers. People make a valid point and you choose to ignoring a lot of what people have to say. Which leads me to believe you made this thread only to have people agree with you, and shoot down everyone who don't.
Instead of answering posts by people who give you some genuine feedback you decide to focus on the trolls. Perhaps to make you look like a victim? Care to lend a thought to my post which you promptly ignored? ;)

I disagree.
The only thing I think they should do is to not allow them in PvP. Other than that I think it's completely pointless to remove them. I personally don't own one of these soon-to-be legacy items, except for a pair of Rainbowstrides, but quiet honestly they're not hurting anybody(except in PvP) so why remove them?
So that's what I think you should ask GGG for- banning these items from PvP. Furthermore, if you are, like you said, 300 members, your more casual players can easily get a hand from the more active players as regards gear and maps. I strongly doubt that you find competing in new leagues to be a problem at all unless your guild is filled with self-serving players. So, be a dear and tell everyone why you really want them removed/updated if, that is, you actually have a group of 240 people who want this.
Also, looking at who is whining and who is praising a certain decision from GGG is seldom a reliable source of the real numbers as people who are pleased with said decision usually don't feel the need to let everybody know how pleased they are. It's the people who want something to change that tend to get vocal about it on the forums.
Thoughts?
I guess i have to agree, they really only need to be removed from pvp, i like legacy items, and i think players deserve to keep cool stuff for playing longer, but not in pvp where it gives an unfair advantage.
Well just want to say I hope you group finds a game you all can enjoy that does things the way you all like. It's never a great thing for such a large number of players leaving all at once, but if that is your prerogative then so be it. I mean it's not like a dingo ate your baby or anything.
But happy hunting for your next game, let us know what you find, cheers! :)

-1 anyway.
This issue has come up ever since the implementation of the Silver Branch Bow. IMO that excuse is moot. Some people even inadvertently squelched those of us who spoke out back then, but now more and more people feel like we do.

1st: You lied in the original post by showing 6 Koam to gain credibility...and then when called out on it you dodged the question by saying "read the OP" or "read my response" where you, again simply dodged the question.
This behavior makes your entire argument/petition/whatever this is invalid. No one is going to believe someone is "speaking on behalf of hundreds" when they will so easily lie about their vestment in the subject to gain ground.
2nd: Quoting false rules and regulations of the terms of agreement will get you nowhere. It may get you laughed at...but GGG surely isn't going to start banning accounts because your getting your feelings hurt over people figuring out your a fraud.
3rd: GGG intentionally made 2 sets of play-modes to fit both types of play styles - Casual (being standard) and more-than-casual (ladder). If you feel that you need a fresh start then join the ladder...your items and character shifts into standard at the end anyways so you, literally, lose nothing by doing this.
The entire "legacy" item argument is invalid and I will youtube myself droping my BoR in town if GGG doesn't feel that same way. This is their game...and they have ALOT of other ARPG games to learn from...and they STILL made this decision. I'm sure they know what they are doing and the direction they want to go in. Not to say they don't listen to feedback...but not "zomg rage face me and my 3(00)friends gonna leave if you don't do what we want).
Clearly on topic...before you get the chance to quote some vague portion of the ToU at me.
Cheers!

Honestly didn't feel like reading a post from a guy who links the same Kaom's Heart several times. Basically, in solo PvP it doesn't mean anything if you win or lose. For tournaments to be a level playing field, all that needs to happen is disabling Kaom's Heart, I'm sure they'll think of that. I paid for my +1000 HP Kaom's Heart and don't feel the need to lose it. Please, if you think Kaom's Heart is going to be OP in PvP then divine your own. Let everyone do what they want.
so you disagree cause you want to stay overpowered :D :D wow
