What makes a bow good?

I'm actually creating a graph comparing Lioneye with rare crit bow with +30% crit chance, comparing your total points spent on crit nodes and your accuracy. Wait for it.

I have 91% acc. The 6.7% base crit is worth it over Lioneye's for me.

Remember your accuracy rating is only an estimate, as it also depends on the ev of the thing you're attacking. Lioneyes doesn't, it's 100% flat.

Edit: And there is no way in hell that bow beats out a lioneyes. It's too slow to stand a chance.

i didn't spend any points on accuracy beyond points i would have spent anyways aka Finesse node. 89% to hit, level 79, 2000 accuracy

it also estimates it against monsters of your own level....meaning if you are like 85, its comparing it to lvl 79 monsters (i assume it doesnt invest estimates for theoretical monsters that dont exist -- like level 85 monsters)

most of the time you are not fighting against lvl 79 monsters. i rarely miss.

I'm only posting the accuracy number on my sheet, I am well aware of the intricacies that are involved, but thanks for the reminder. I also don't use LG because my archer is an evasion based crit character. If I used Lioneye's I wouldn't be able to evade the reflected damage. The bow I posted has ~370 dps and 6.7% base crit chance. For my build, my bow is much better than Lioneye's, in my opinion.

I've thrown on a 6L glare in the place of the above posted bow, and the rare does more damage. The speed doesn't bother me at all.
