An interesting suggestion I found on reddit,
which tries to foster crafting at low-level brackets. http://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/1lawg9/suggestion_low_level_crafting_options/ I will add it to the other suggestions, as it might make self-found more bearable. I want you to remember to avoid attacking each other. Every contribution in this thread is welcome. Which stance one does partake in is of no relevance. Crafting in low level DOES exist, but it's poor I've faith that GGG is working on it i like this game. i mean have you seen how powerful is the barbarian

1. leagues can only be harder not easier then standard league.
standard selffound hardcore selffound Only thing you have to change is, disable trading and both of these leagues will be way harder. Nothing else is there to do. I hope it will come. I like selffound, it's way better then trading because you never know what you get and you can't plan a build involving uniques because you might never get those. Same goes for skill gems. I remember playing hundreds of hours before i saw a chain gem drop. I like to work for my success and i like to compete against those who do the same, therefore - selfound leagues please. |

" To be fair, when some of us talk about "self-found" we are discussing it at the account level not the individual character level. I'd want to start planning for a character using that Shav's. I don't think balancing an economy among a tiny handful of characters is a big deal. Balancing across the entire player base is a whole separate kettle of fish because the powre of trading scales up dramatically. I don't trade. I don't group. My comments reflect that.

I've read all the posts from Qarl in this thread and it appears that he doesn't think the gambling-that-is-called-crafting in PoE has anything to do with self-founder's dissatisfaction with current options. Increase in drop rates = more rolls of the dice to get a better item that, due to the large number of affixes, is hard to find killing monsters alone. Disclaimer: if there was a more convenient trading system, I'd use it. I'm not that fussed about playing self-found but I have no intention of organizing my life around the current trading system. There has to be a low point where some people stop complaining because it's just not worth it, and I have yet to see it. - Squeakypaw, 2013

I completely agree about the 4 link thing. Whenever I play a new character there is always a huge wall when you get around level 50. Getting better gear becomes very hard since you really need links for auras and skills and can't just use a good item you find off the ground.
I think that if the quantity of 4links that spawn at vendors and drop were increased it would help a lot. |
