If you have no or only small cold/fire flat damages on gear, would it not be better just to take out Anger?

If I am correct (probably not), the WED will still apply to your lightning damage and therefore to your chaos damage and give a significant damage boost, which cannot be reflected, while Anger does only little damage.

You can just turn anger off but when you're playing in a party some other people might not want to take it out so its just safer in the long run to take out wed.
