[1.0.5] - Lvl 100 - Blastrophe's LA / Frenzy Life Based Crit Ranger w Video (Lioneyes or Voltaxic)

In my current build (still Glare-WED, saving up Regrets for conversion to Voltax-Crit), I have:
1) removed Unwavering Stance, took Heart of Oak and the 2xStun Recovery next to it
2) removed Iron Reflexes

and defense-wise this works about the same to my previous build but it saves a few nodes (you can also take a shorter route to Blood Magic this way). I may have been stunned since, but for such short durations it may also have been jitter/desync

Or am I missing something?

I wouldn't trust anything but unwavering especially in high level maps where mobs with certain mods can hit extremely hard which is sketchy when you can be stunned even if its for 1-2 seconds. As for Iron Reflexes it gives you an insane amount of physical damage reduction which is also vital for survival at higher levels unless you dodge which can still be sketchy when you get slammed by a pack of rhoas or guards.

I am using this setup now on 73-77 maps. I have never been stunned for 1 second even when Damage enhanced Rare Rhoas/Undead Rhoas/Blackguards or the Plateau Rhoa charge me. I *may* have been stunned for 0.2 seconds or so (but it may have been jitter/desynch - hard to tell). So for stun this setup works.

After IRs nerf, I found the difference in damage reduction between eva and arm negligible, especially because:
- eva is karma based, smoothing out damage peaks from several critters hitting you, and with LA/Chain/LGOH, the more creatures the merrier anyway
- arm is less effective against big hits, which are precisely the most dangerous

In your build both Acrobatics and Ondars Guile are only 1 node each, and this will further enhance the eva side considerably.

If you are using Voltaxic I would go with thunderfist's because reflect isn't an issue anymore but if you feel that you lack crit or crit damage keep using maligaros.

Do you think it will be viable for me to level with this guide?

Will a require very good equips or can I progress well with what Id find on my way?

This build could be pretty expensive to play towards higher levels but should be alright to level without having insane amount of currency altho doing so could prove to be pretty hard. I would recommend maybe playing a shadow spark magic find character which is usually very cheap so you can bank up a good amount of currency and maybe find some key items for the build! That's just my opinion tho.

Sorry for a dumb question but your three leveled build links show you as a ranger, your current build link shows you as a shadow. Do you have a different guide for your shadow?

It is on the shadow section I just made a version of my build for ranger as well because some of my ranger friends wanted to try it out also.
