I want to maximize DPS, therefore only LA will provide the sustain. Frenzy will have no leech.
6L LA = Blood magic + LA + LMP + Chain + WED + Life Leech.
4L Frenzy = Blood magic + Frenzy + Faster Attacks + WED (using thunderfist so added lightning)

Here is my gear at my disposal:

I am also running The Blood Dance boots, which provide me with significant sustain from 6 frenzy charges. That's the other rationale for dropping life leech from Frenzy in favor of more dps.

The final option is to have Voltaxic be pure DPS and Lioneye's be for sustain on weapon swap.
The downside to that is that I don't get to use dual brightbeak leap slam for mobility.

I had the same gem link as what you want to do (except LoH instead of Life Leech) and like you read I was debating about BM keystone or not.

With Blastrophe answer I reconsidered my choice and thought deeper about it, I finally went the BM keystone route, here's why:

Previously I was running Purity, Vitality, Haste, Hatred, Anger (not enough INT for maxed Wrath)

Vitality was mostly useful because I didn't have Life-Leech on Frenzy and 6L LA with BM-Gem suck a lot of HP.

With the BM-Key the life cost is reduced by half AND you can put LL on Frenzy so no problem spamming

My concerns was my Resists without Purity and my DPS, by going BM-Key I had to lose DPS by equipping better Resist Gear and drop Haste & Hatred.

But I would gain Wrath (Crit route, enough INT), LL on Frenzy and an extra DPS gem on LA which would probably be an overall gain in DPS.

It's hard to compare because I went from Non-Crit/Hatred/Haste to Crit/Wrath but I'm pretty sure it's better even by dropping some DPS on rings etc.

Basically what you wanna compare is:

-LL Frenzy (which is a must have after playing with it), Extra LA Gem and Reduced life Cost

VS

-Haste and Better DPS Gear (assuming your actual gear doesn't cap you otherwise you wouldn't even lose DPS)


Other Auras don't really matter to me, Vitality is negligible by going BM with LL on Frenzy and LoH on LA, Hatred is near useless if you use Voltaxic and Grace is maybe better than Determination if you got IR.

I'm not so good items, I think my DPS on the lighting arrow is 150, and I'm in Act 2!
I wonder if I have to worry about items or if this is the normal way, and I worry more about the Cruel and Misless?

If you are just coming out of Act 1 with 150 dps you are doing fine. Once you upgrade and add links to skills it will drastically improve from act to act and difficulty to difficulty.

One thing I noticed tho, is it true you only have 1.5% life regen from Golem's Blood or have I missed something?

I'm playing with 4% life regen ATM and really loving it. Don't you feel like your regen is a little low? I understand life leech will fill you up very fast but regen seems really nice vs things like puncture and such.

Also it just seems good / sweet to me.

Regen has never been a problem for me to be honest if I could take 6% life besides the 1.5% life regen I probably would. Life Leech + LGoH is just good enough and as for puncture being a problem I don't think more life regen will save you if you are slow to dispell it.

I have been asked this before I would recommend starting off this game with a build that is good and easy to farm with and that is also very very cheap like panko's low life farming build just to get you started with a good bank and maybe even unique's that you need for the build!

It can be done as ranger OR shadow. I currently am playing a shadow which I just posted a ranger version of it because a couple of my rangers friend thought it would be a good idea since I helped them with their respec to mine.

My ranger is currently level 73 with this build and its pretty fun to say the least, but I'm thinking about respecing my level 76 duelist into this build once 1.0 launches. Do you think that would work out pretty well or should I just stick to my ranger?

So I have 3 characters of about level 70 two ranger and a shadow. I am going to respec one of them to follow this build. My dilemma is with the bandit rewards.
Ranger 1 has all three skill points
Ranger 2 has helped oak thru out. So health-damage-endurance charge
Shadow has skill point-skill point-frenzy charge

So which one would someone recommend for the respec upon release?
