Hey i have a question about Leech Life.

Im 20k dps with duel strike with 4k health. How much Leech life do i need before it becomes pointless?

OP stated in the 1st post that you only need around 14k dps with Dual Strike to reach the leech cap for this build, if i remember correctly

There's a certain leech cap?
Does this mean you should use something else like lgoh after 14k dps?

Anyone?
@ 20k dps, 4k life, 8 attacks/second, 4% leech (pretty normal)

800 leech/second
equivalent LGoH (@ 20/20) == 8*54 == 432

now adjusting for splash (bad practice, one should always assume the worst case scenario ie single target boss fight)

8 * 54 * x where x == the number of targets hit directly and by splash

since mobs are the single least threatening thing in the game, we should discount the value of LGoH closer to the original case (432 vs 800) on general principle

Thanks Sawseech for the builds. I've adjusted my builds a bit for more health. Lost ~3k dps but gained 6k hp. Feels a lot safer than before though. 37.6k dual strike dps should be enough for high end maps. I'll probably pick up more life nodes as I level. Hopefully I'll hit ~4.5k hp by the time I'm lvl 87.
Hi guys, can you give me some suggestions about the Elemental Adaptation node. Is it important for blender build?

It's more about learning how to play your char and using the unmatched mobility that this build provides than it is about life. I just did a twostrength double torture chamber w. ele reflect and cold resist and I could have done it with 2.5k life I'd imagine. It would just take longer and it would be far harder but I'm sure that I could do it.

If you want even more mobility you can always run haste and grab celerity/armor-speed hybrid node.

After I'm done beating everything in the game I might respec my char for full damage/mobility just for fun.

Oh, and I don't use elemental flasks for reference although I should. I have 20/20 PoX gems.

Here's a new 118 point variation of my previous build sitting on the life total that I have now:

Minor arbitrary improvement by taking the life/onehanded hybrid nodes by resolute technique:

No weapon specific nodes 118 point variation:

Gallantry variation:

hey i made this build inspired by ur gallantry build. I combined yours and xcellers. Although it looks more similar to xcellers :p. I managed to get basically same amount of health but with much more damage + all resists.

I basically grabbed all the health nodes nearby the marauder tree rather than going up through it to grab the 8% and 10%. the results in health are basically the same although a bit less armour. Should maintain survivability but killing things alot faster (which helps you survive :P)

Major changes:

decrease:
- 9 hp
- 1400 armour

Increases:
+ 2200 more DPS (level 19 cyclone)
+ 10 more base resistence (all res)
+ attack speed

Total for my character (with hatred and grace)

6078 hp
10K armour
capped resistence
16.2k cyclone dps (without added gems like conc effect or add fire)

Let me know what you think

PS: if you have enough survivability you can switch out the 3x 6health + 6armour nodes below the marauder tree and get the 3x 4% more atk speed right beside the BORN TO FIGHT node

I'll need to play with my build more in particular against high bosses before I decide to make changes for the sake of more damage. For now I think that I have enough damage but it's definitely marginal; running haste results in absolutely not enough damage for sure. If I find that I have damage problems I might respec into my old tree or something resembling your tree.

I definitely think that the +1 to lightning and fire cap are worth grabbing. With 76% resist and a max purity of X, you take 20% of elemental damage. With 77% and the same gem, you take 19%; that's 1/20th less or 5%. Personally, I think it's worth the two points although this may just be for convenience. Given that it's easy for me to respec something like this, I'll take the time to play around with both configurations before I decide which is better although there's something to be said for tanking residence boss' touch of god like a boss :D

Your tree looks nice but I think that x2p and others might think that it's too weapon specific (swords and axes); the blender used to be a very universal build in that you could use basically any one handed weapon with it based on preference. If it turns out that to optimize your build correctly in the endgame requires the use of very specific trees (like my older trees and yours), well, that might just be the new reality of the build now. Glad to be of assistance and HF!

PS your gear sounds sick.

Do you happen to have a tree for a dual strike blender? Or are yours the same for dual strike?
So which cwdt combo is ideal atm?

Im using cwdt + enfeeble + enduring cry + decoy totem

is this still the best choice ? i've seen a lot of cwdt + molten shell/enduring cry + immortal call + increased duration

we can prob also link another cwdt with enfeeble?

here is my idea of how to cast 4 spells.

So with our gear, based on x2p's build, we end up with 2 free slots (used for portal or w/e)

Instead if we have your weapon link 2 sockets, and one free, we can have cwdt + enfeeble and a curse (blood rage or vulnerability) in the non-linked free slot. This way u can cast your curses freely without limits to its level or usage.

This can be really helpful in squeezing in an extra trigger effect :)

ANYWAYS, mainly looking for combos to use, but with this trick we can trigger 4 effects. What combos do you guys think would be best??

Not sure if it's been discussed before but I'm planning to start a blender on the new leagues, does the change in BoR nerf the survivability of this build?

probably... the new BoR has half life than the legacy one.
