here is my idea of how to cast 4 spells.

So with our gear, based on x2p's build, we end up with 2 free slots (used for portal or w/e)


Instead if we have your weapon link 2 sockets, and one free, we can have cwdt + enfeeble and a curse (blood rage or vulnerability) in the non-linked free slot. This way u can cast your curses freely without limits to its level or usage.


This can be really helpful in squeezing in an extra trigger effect :)


ANYWAYS, mainly looking for combos to use, but with this trick we can trigger 4 effects. What combos do you guys think would be best??


My gem setup:

CWDT->enfeeble->enduring cry->decoy totem
grace->reduced mana->hatred->portal (red slot)
faster attacks->leap slam->whirling blades
vulnerability->blood magic->increased area of effect

with this setup i can swap in/out:

purity of elements
purity of X
reduced mana

which allows me to run a 60% aura and 2 40% auras; my typical setup is 2x 60% auras and casting vuln on demand







what are your thoughts about cwdt - enfeeble - during cry = decoy


have you tried any other set ups, or is this the best one??


also would i be able to have blood rage on a switchable weapon, cast it and then just keep hitting until it goes away?

I mean im getting carried away with cwdt, however are blood rage and vulnerability really that useful???


I've run an immortal call setup and I think it's terrible on blender. To run it properly you need to link it with an increased duration gem, which means it's the only thing you run. With any good blender build, the way that you deal with physical damage is to a) kill what's hitting you, b) failing that, blind it, c) block the attack if it ever comes at you directly rather then at your decoy totem, d) mitigate the damage that does arrive with armor and enfeeble. We don't need immortal call in place of c and d and, frankly, it's inferior because we can, e) run the fuck away.

Blood rage is viable. I just don't like it. Running it in a hard bossfight offsets your passive life regen, which effectively shrinks your HP pool to leech/LGoH. This gives you less margin for error in exchange for not enough damage output and mobility in return in my opinion.

Vulnerability is amazing. 44% more damage taken by the opposition in exchange for a tiny cast time? Put it on temple piety and suchlike and laugh at how easy the fight goes.

nice! that explains it so much better. I was thinking of linking cast when damage - molten shell as it heals you due to life leech. then not sure if it works for sure

anyways the blood magic and vulnerability is genius.... this way i dont need mana leech :)

one more question, what level do you keep ur cwdt gem @?
i have it at level 4 atm. its decemt but it doesnt proc very often, even on lvl 77 78 maps

I'm not sure about my main gem setup, I'm doing 4.5dmg and dont know if life leech helps enough or maybe I should get something else in it?

If I find blood magic I'll probably get that in there, but I dont know which gem to drop then...

I created this 6L with 5 fuse btw :P

level 1. enfeeble all the things. vuln all the magical things.

yeah, theres my gear also gem setup in items



belt sucks tho, but will buy trires+life soon when anyon is sellin coz on xyz.is noone there with trires
