i noticed a post about sparks being a problem.all you need is 50% dodge on melee to get ondar's and you'll have 100% dodge to all spells/ranged attacks.
You can literally stand in a room with 50 sparkers and not get touched once.
No. Ondar's guile only helps against projectile attacks, not spells. Also, the cap is 95% chance to evade. You get acrobatics on top of that, and you're gonna be at around 97%.

main problem with the evasion base characters is the mechanic itself, i mean you cannot put your faith in a thing that mainly based on RNG, you cannot just say "i will be fine, the mob will miss me anyways" what if not, what if you soak the incoming damage twice or three times without getting evaded?
It doesn't work like that. Only the first hit of a mob is rng, the rest is forced. So for example if you have 80% chance to evade and you are hit 5 times by a mob, you are guaranteed to only take 1 hit. It could be the first hit, or the last, but you will only take one out of 5 hits if you have 80% chance to evade.
That's important because it means you'll always have time to recover after a big hit.

Thats not how it works. With 50% chance to evade, you will not get hit 3 times in a row.

who said in a row? and probability in games is always working a bit different, than on the notepad

No, you simply misunderstood how evasion is calculated. It's not an individually refreshed chance per hit. If you take one hit and you have an 80% chance to evade, then you will not take the next 4 hits. If you do, it's a bug and should be reported.

i understand all of this, i did not even sratch the surface with that example, i just wanted to represent difference between fix reduction and a thing called evade that still depends on RNG

i do not know why will you evade next 4 hits too if you evade once?
another example:
You have 50% chance to evade does not mean you will evade half amount of incoming attacks. Maybe you will evade 2 from 10, and then you would evade 8 from next 10, but till that, you will be already dead.

You say you understand, and then immediately say something that shows you do not get it at all.

The problem is you are theorycrafting, while we are actually playing our evasion characters.

but spark is considered a projectile a friend of mine tested it and confirmed it worked.
unless he straight up lied to me which i seriously doubt.

This is 100% wrong... read the mechanics before you confuse people with misinformation

This is also wrong. It doesnt work for the same reason point blank doesnt work with spark. it must be both a projectile and an attack....
spark is a projectile but not an attack therefore it does not count
