What I got out of this is that elemental damage is too high to begin with since everything in merciless is all about stacking resists as much as possible.
I have extra beta keys and I'm not giving them out

it is. and someone like temple piety or crematorium boss take it to absurdity, destroying the tankiest and healthiest of summons with like two casts max.

Lets sumarrize:

2 months ago and beyond
summoners were among ok classes had bugs which were screwing gameplay a bit..
but overall it was playable class

1 month ago
then according to GGG 1 month ago they became OP?i dont know i havent played in that time

Today
GGG fixed "supposedly bug 1 month ago" of op summons?
that should lead us back to 2 months ago status?

WRONG
it doesnt lead us there.it actually degrade completely!
and sooner the GGG realize and recalculate their math the sooner they can fix and we can continue playing our crappy class once again!?

If you look around the forum you'll see the thread. Enemies are doing MUCH MUCH MUCH more damage than they were before patch. Which is exacerbating the summon resist fix.

All of this could have been avoided if GGG actually posted what elemental resist they are supposed to have.

Nope, zombies are still pretty good. If you have an MI build, you better have taken care of your mana regen and cast speed mods by the time you hit level 50 or so.
