Remove MF completely from game

+1 To remove MF and the map idea is great.
I love pie.
MF has always been a stupid mechanic and games always suffer for it. Other games have eliminated it for a reason. MF essentially becomes mandatory. After that, all gear without MF on it plummets in value. So all the time you spent using your MF gear to get better statted gear was relatively pointless unless your new gear also has MF. It's just an endless cycle of stupidity. Remove MF from the game, increase drop rates by a flat amount to compensate.

edited:btw...if you will get to real lvls you will find out that there is a "party" sistem here...and 1\6 people always like being MF...every group of friends playing this have mf\trash cleaner\singel target burst....you dont have to be all this 3 things in 1 character...it online game ..ONLINE!!!!!

For the last several days I played maps with random parties, and every time everyone was looking for an MF character, but no more than only one per party.

It's not like we have a tank/healer/DPS trinity here, so why does this MF gimmick needs to stay?

You player type is the reason what's wrong with todays aRPG. Go back and play WoW. aRPG =/= MMORPG.

Ha, that's a good argument and I'm generally in favor of having MF since we play this game, in very large part, for the loot. By all means, they could remove MF but then they really should increase drop rates of every monster by about 500%. Without loot, PoE is dead.

But, that's not the only irony in PoE: How about vast options of builds? Yet every build needs life/ES, resistances. Every. Single. Build. I got a few more, but dont want to go offtopic too much

who cares about MF!
I tested both, actually in domination with a bit of IRR I find three times more items than in standard with 15%+quantity gem on a second skill. It's outrageous. Atm IIQ/IIR is broken to me. The big pro is that if you have a char with high IIQ/IIR and some friends you can easily farm what you need pretty easily, the big cons is that you can't do shit without it.

Something like parangon system from D3(outrageous infamy ^^) would reward people who put love in their characters and would be logical in every ways.

Some of us here have not the chance of beeing members of a prolific community of players, I have a 2 members community, me and a guy who don't understand well map system and how to balance a character in order to survive AND have some use(when I play with him, I cull less because he likes to burst blue mobs, and it takes longer because he has 2K single target dps lol). Trust me when you hit lvl85 with a character without IIQ, IIR, have nobody to play with and have a subpar gear you would be pleased to have a game mechanic that rewards tenacity instead of having to reroll something to see yellows on the ground. Imho IIQ/IIR, how those stats work, it's just far too too much. It's fun and epic for ones who use it, that's it.


note: If maps haven't been designed for xp farming, there is something wrong or a hole in the content to fix lol. (something like a whole act or even a difficulty)
