NO MORE PATH OF LIFE NODES

Will people actually pick up armor armor/hybrid nodes or even eva nodes post patch?

I'm curious how long we have to take advantage of the full respec as i imagine there will be a few weeks of experimentation and testing to find an ideal mix of defensive passives.

It's starting sirs and/or madams! *huge evil grin*
Now I don't know what I'm excited for more, the patch or the reactions. It'll be amazing.

If you have less life% from passive tree, you will definetly want more raw life from gear.
Considering those two work together exponentially, it's normally exactly the other way around.

Kaom's on a character with only 100% increased life adds 2000 life. On a character with 300% increase life, it adds 4000. Seems to me that the more life you have on gear, the more life passives you want.

yeah, well you can look at it both ways, you are both 'right' but in different situations. The other factors involved like how much life do you need, how much can you get and at what point are you taking way more damage because you are not killing fast enough, its going to take playing the thing for a while before we can really know the answers to those questions.

Amarena is looking at if from the presumption you will still need a lot of health and it will be hard to get it, where as Scrotie you seem to be presuming it will be balanced, and in the 2000 life situation the rest of the game is designed around that being a viable amount, not that you get 2000 but still need 4000 to even be viable so you now need at least another 1k from your remaining slots.

If I was a betting man I would put my money on GGG bringing a balanced situation, I may question some of the things they do but they're not idiots, they know what they're doing and why they're doing it. I can't see them turning the game into Koams or gtfo.
The original post worries me.

"No more path of life nodes" is what the objective is. The patch is a attempt to fulfill that objective that may or may not succeed.

People need to realize we are testers, not consumers of a finished product, and go into .11 with that mindset. Find out what works, and what doesn't, and give constructive feedback, so that the game can keep improving.

Not everything will be fixed in one patch and I'm not looking forward to the whine posts from everyone who thought that would be the case.
