Yes, currently for my build for efficiency sake I need about 220% increased life. After that life nodes don't really give that much % "more" life to make it more attractive than getting 2% "more" dps.

Let me make an example assuming that each life node only gives 8% life:

At 220% increased life, a "8% life node" is equivalent to 2.5% "more" life (8/320 = 0.025). To achieve that amount of increased life I would need to spend about 220/8 = 27.5 points on life nodes.

If we instead assume that each node only gives "4% life":
At 60% increased life, a "4% life node" is equivalent to 2.5% "more" life (4/160 = 0.025).
To achieve that amount, I would need to spend about 60/4 = 15 points on life nodes.


So this a mathemetical example how nerfing % life nodes affects the amount of stat points you need to be efficient.

True that. They are extremely creative people.

he also said they lowered ES nodes too, so yes you may have to fear for your 1 life. That may be a big change for CI users as well... though they should be used to it, CI has had its ES taken down, then down, then down again.

Not a complaint, btw, I am actually looking forward to true defense being more viable, stacking life or ES was very frustrating to me. time will tell :)
