NO MORE PATH OF LIFE NODES

HP nodes would be nerfed?

So melee will be twice worse than it is now, and now it sucks. LOL

Nope, because they buff melee damage and reduce monster damage too.

Don't worry that much about armor/evasion.They will remain as an issue, until formulas are rewritten.Which didn't happen.
Btw pure haters really suck. The ones that hate mindlessly just for the act of it.They suck as much as mindless blind believers do.

as if lower Mob dmg would make HP useless...

MOAR LIFE is MOAR LIFE, only makes HC easyer...
I think what they are trying to do is make all forms of defense balanced. So you can succeed by having high armor (a reduction in enemy damage makes armor much more effective), having high evasion (again when you get hit, it doesn't necessarily devastate you) or the combination of the two should be more viable now, even with out 8K+ hp. Want to still stack life or ES, sure you can do it, but it's only going to be as effective as stacking armor or evasion, rather than a clear advantage.
I can see your / Back is turned and / If I could I'd / Stick my knife in.

Not useless, but life nodes become less efficient, which means people should (if they play clever) spend less points on life nodes, which is the entire point of the thread.

I feel like this is not accurate. The armour works well at certain damage amounts. If they scale the damage right, it might work. The problem is in high level content the monsters pierce armour no matter what, so even with tons of armour you need tons of life on top of it. I believe they change this.

Evasion ... is whole another thing. If life is getting nerfed, so is evasion. You need the buffer if you receive 100% of the damage. If they scale it so even low life evasion users don't get OHKO then armour would be stupid powerful.

And then we have elemental damage and chaos, completely burning all the balance they are trying to achieve, given how resistances work.

Balancing is never ending story, but hey, they are trying. Life stacking was covering many real issues in the game mechanics, now they are slowly going to reveal them by nerfing life, so they can eventually fix them. :)

i am not new here , this account was cr8ed in january and i started PoE since CB :P.Just wanted to taunt all haters to say smth here and oh yeah someone came :P, *cough dima cough*
Game? Who needs to play the game? Forums are funny enough

I am ready to bet on what I predict : life nodes will remain as precious as they are at the very moment.Monster's dmg reduction is a good decision, but what's the percentage?I can bet it's not more than 10-15% reduction.Broken ingame mechanics according to armor and evasion still remain.Players will suffer almost the same pain in battles.A bit less, yeah. They should've changed the formulas and add a different percentage of eva/armor/ES gain per character, according to it's class. That's a change.
I think it's all the same, really.A bit easier gameplay with same issues.

Testing how much they decreased monster damage is the first thing I will do after the patch (already got some damage of mobs written down in text documents).
