quitting cause of crafting

What they don't realize is that the majority of endgame players have already moved on, and small company run F2P games can't survive without the majority.

Do you always state your imaginings as if they were facts? Can you tell the difference between what you actually know and what you imagine?

It sure looks the answer to those questions are yes and no.
See you in a couple of weeks.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
Really sucks man. I have spent over 2k fusings trying to 6L my quill rains. My only suggestion is to take a week break. That is the only way to recover a crushed love after something like that.

Hopefully in the future they will change how the RNG works for fusing. It is very unfair that 1% of the people get completely fucked. I do not even consider myself part of that 1% yet. Maybe 3k and I will start to fell like you do. But anyways I think this is something GGG really need to address.

I pity anyone trying to actually make a 6L. Unless you're feeling lucky you're so much better off just buyinG what you need. GGG says they don't want gold. Well orbs are essentially gold now. They say they don't want an auction house. Guess what if you want late game gear you better get trading. All the trading none of the convenience.
6L is the absolute end game gear.

6L must stay hard to get.

BUT

might be nice to reward FREE 6L gear for reaching level 100.

I think 6000 fusings is a bit more than hard to get though.

I think if items kept a tract sheet of the orbs invested in them, and then the odds went up based off the amount of orbs accumulated on an item it would be a little more user friendly but still gamblers style.

Double of zero is still zero.
I spend 1000, 3000, or 6000 fuses on an item and I have the same odds of linking it after that many fuses as I did on the 1st fusing. Why?

Reminds me of when Star Wars TOR mmorpg came out, and the only way people could get PVP gear was RNG pvp bags. Some people got entire pvp sets in one week, others had only two pieces of pvp gear after a month, and some people would get the same belt or pair of boots over and over again. That system was quickly eliminated and replaced.

I understand. I gave up on fusing for anything more then 4 link a long time ago. Sorry for the jerks. Take care :)

This.

Crafting needs fixed so bad...
Crafting doesn't exist in POE. Gambling does...and the house always wins.

Velocireptile - I LOL'ed. Which made me fart. I wish the office were empty right now :(

Hardlicker - I had to push the dog out of the way so I could get to the sexy quilt.
You don't need a 6L. You can play the game fine with what you have. It's your problem... not the game's. You feel you deserve this bow and that you need it to enjoy the game. It wont help. You'll find that the game is pretty much the same as it was, but with one less goal for you to try for. You'll be back complaining that there's nothing to do.

Just quit. Just quit.
