Common Suggestions and Feedback (with Dev Responses)
OP should be updated. A lot of the suggestions happened a long time ago, and it would be nice to see which things are still outstanding.

I would like to see a simple thing as different colours of the X mark in maps for different players. Like green for group member 1, red for 2 etc. Or even make them adjustable by player.
Kinda hard to know ,when your grouping with a couple of people with skype, where to go when you hear player 3 yells "follow me", and all you see is a bunch of green X's on the map =) |

I would love for the ability to type in guild chat or any chat by my account name instead of my character name.. would make the sociability of guilds so much better.

I would like a auto skill selection feature.
I imput in 10 skills ahead of time (path = blue to show they are unallocated) and when you level, the skills are automatically imputed without you having to open up the skill panel and input them every level. You can change at any time, as long as the points have not been allocated (otherwise you need passive respecs or orb of regret to undo any mistakes). When you have no further path for the points to allocate to, you must open your skill panel, like normal, and allocate them and designate a path, if you wish. |

" Why not an alternative option for people to use, in the options menu you should want to boast (show off) your gear. The options should be: * Public * Party Only * Friends Only * Party and Friends Only * None This game is about boasting anyways because you buy pets and alternative glowing effects (in my opinion). There is one other thing. When you switch to the alternative weapon set, your skill-set should also be switched to another preset. The gems provides you to some skills so this must be an obvious miss. Regardless of my opinions or not, it's still a fine game ! |

I think you must change how the inventory put the things in.
i run a unique map with lots of rares dropping around and i am like what should i pick?? i want them all. not 5-6-7 of them! 1 item = 1 or 2 squares on the inventory not the half!!! we need space GIVE US SPACE!!!!!!!!! |

If the sockets in the items in this game simply gave us better stats I wouldn't mind, but they don't. Our skill system and combat style revolve around the number of links and sockets we have. When something so basic about a character is subject to such ridiculous RNG playing the game itself becomes ridiculous and progress with your character becomes expensive and random. Especially since power in this game centers so heavily on gear. Right now, only the uber players or ppl living with their mother will enjoy the required endless grinding. Us normal players will not enjoy the game near as much because of the random RNG. And we do NOT have the luxury of time required for the grinding. Over a year of playing and NEVER had a 5-link item or found many of the ingredient items. Many ingredients usually required for even trading. But with ZERO trading engines in the game, it makes that even worse.
I'm a person that loves playing a necro, but it can get stupid fast against even yellow bosses that can wipe out your entire army (zombies, skeletons, spectres AND a totem) within 5 seconds. Makes it impossible to progress. I would like to suggest a GOLEM like the ones in Diablo 2, with an aura that helps your minions. At least have the 'army' a chance at winning. Without a chance for most of us (1 out of 1,000+ chance) to get a 5-6 link item, the game isn't fun at higher levels. Since again, it's required to have 5-6 link sockets for a good build that can last the higher levels. |

" my efficiency scheme is like obsessive-compulsive tetris. i never pick up 2x4s and focus on 2x2s and 1x3 because they maximise inventory composition. stack a 2x2 with 2 1x3s. then when you find 1x2 (atm the only item in this category is flask) then start replacing your 2x2s. then when you get 1x1 (rings, ammys, currency, gems, boogers, cow pats), fill in the gaps created by your 2x2 when you put in 1x2s because flasks are generally hard to come by. also a neat trick is when you find gems, slot them inside equips you find, but don't necessarily apply this to currency except for identity scrolls! there you have it a guide to maximising hoarding throughput. join me next week when i tackle the ages old question of dealing with quest items in your inventory that just don't seem to leave!! |
