Common Suggestions and Feedback (with Dev Responses)

I don't know if this was already mentioned in the thread (didnt read all of it), but it would be better to implement the "one-click lef mouse attack system.

Meaning: you target an enemy and kill it, and if you move the cursor to the next monster you will keep attacking. Saves a lot of wrist complaints and medical costs for treatment :-)

I'm playing witch atm and I hate to click for EACH monster (while using single target spell)...

Why not call all these classes "body types" or "bods" for short instead of classes?

There's nothing "class specific" to picking a "class". Skills aren't class based (they are stat based). Same goes for gear.

Then you can keep the sprites as purely cosmetic. It opens the possibility of male/female choices without adding more sprites. OR you can just sell additional sprites since it would be purely cosmetic.

You can end up with a witch cosmetic that starts on the marauder node in the passive tree.
I think more beta keys would be a great idea!!! ;)
Beta Key Please :)
have you though about maybe putting a crafting system into the game think that would be ace :) P.S i havnt played the game so if there is some kind of crafting system my bad lol

I also have a hard time thinking of the characters as "classes." But even the Devs call 'em that, so... *shrugs.* =^[.]^=
=^[.]^= basic (happy/amused) cheetahmoticon: Whiskers/eye/tear-streak/nose/tear-streak/eye/
whiskers =@[.]@= boggled / =>[.]<= annoyed or angry / ='[.]'= concerned / =0[.]o= confuzzled /
=-[.]-= sad or sleepy / =*[.]*= dazzled / =^[.]~= wink / =~[.]^= naughty wink / =9[.]9= rolleyes #FourYearLie
Class systems are different from game to game. This class system happens not to be defined by skills but by where the character starts on the passive skill tree, what skills they're awarded for quest rewards, and how they look. If you don't want to think of them as classes, then don't.

I think the class system is fine as it is and I would dread seeing class-specific powers being added to the game at this point about as much as I'd dread being able to have more appearance/gender choices available for free. Once that happens, you can be sure that GGG is just kissing a big part of its income goodbye, and the game won't be around long after that.
Maybe my suggestions exist already, but I am too lazy to search.

First:
It would be nice to move items which I want to sell into the dealers stash by just right clicking them. The actual drag-and-drop system is very time intensive.
Already suggested, solution shift+left click

Second:
The autosort for the inventory is not very effective. Maybe it would be possible to rearrange items automatically if I find a new one and pick it up? There is often enough space in the inventory. Its just bad sorted.
Already suggested

Thx for the game. I really like it.

P.S.
I play on my AlienWare X11 Netbook which has got two graphics units. My problem is, Path of Exile does not autodetect the built in NVIDIA card. The name of the program starter ist client.exe which already exists in the NVIDIA settings for Phantasy Star Online 2. So I cannot overrule the autodetection by giving the NVIDIA driver the path to Path of Exiles client.exe. Maybe you could find a solution for this discomfort. Until now I open the game by right-clicking client.exe - start program with NVIDIA graphics processor.

I must have answered this one about a hundred times by now, at least a few of which probably happened in this very thread (though don't quote me on that), but all you have to do to quickly move things to a vendor's stash is shift click the item to be sold. Really, man, this thread exists so you will READ it! This isn't the place to drop your common suggestions, it's a place for you to educate yourself on what is and isn't worth suggesting.
I'd just like to expand on suggestions for how the map could be improved.

Firstly, it needs an option to change it's scale both minimap and the TAB feature. Zoom in/Out.

It needs to mark quest monster locations within X promimity to player when asked to kill X monsters in the area.

It needs proper icons, obviously. Supplimented with a filter of what you can turn on and off.

I realise map has been covered and i apologise.

I'd also like to see more mesh' in game eventually many bows for example look almost the same. I see a lot of people saying that even end game gear looks pretty ugly. I agree.

- I realise Microtransaction store is purely cosmetic based, incentive to use is needed given that game content can't be bought. A compromise, perhaps?

There have been complaints of the checkpoint system. Cases of people disconnecting at the end of a map and then losing their place/portal and having to start again.

-Pot animation could be improved by simply having your character use it's auto attack when left clicked (Instead of holding shift to do so) - Sorry, i realise this has also been covered.

More graphics options wouldn't hurt.

A confirmation checkbox option before spending a passive skill point couldn't hurt.

Waypoint system also seems a little chaotic. There seems to be too many, imo. I realise inventory is limited to keep a lid on the ecomony. And tp scrolls are as rare a drop as they are for the same reason. Mass Wp's plays like a cheap-counter to both of those restrictions.

F1 display definately needs a proper integration into the HUD, some people like to keep it up.

An inspect option
- Oddly, i didn't see this one mentioned.

I'd also like to say that a hostile attitude towards somebody who makes the same suggestion as somebody else is just wasteful, it's better that it doesn't happen but it always will. It's better to just ignore it.

These threads can get spammy and push better threads down, you only help to push other threads down with responses.

Yes the entrances and waypoint highlights will get something better than what they are currently. However not now. I know it looks fuggly as but think of how many entrances and exits and highlights there are. Now id have to go over every single one of those and add effects too it... Which I will. I just dont have the time at the moment. When I get around to fixing it people will go "cool!" however its not a feature that will keep them playing the game :P.

We would like to be available on Steam. Unfortunately, it's not as simple as signing a form and clicking a button.

There's actually a lot of work that would be required to integrate into the Steam framework. It's time and man-power that we really can't spare at the moment.
