There is ~%2 chance that rare items have 1 random item mod that normally does not appear on that item. This item mod has a 50% maximum of a normal (maximum) modifier to prevent OP builds.
The idea behind this is to be able to collect items that improves the uniqueness of the character. For example: someone targets on movementspeed and collect rare rares that have a movementspeed-modifier. Or in my case: cast speed.
If mods are truly random, there will be rares with an unique modifier. Or even better: 0.02*0.02 = 0.004 chance there is a rare rare with 2 totally random modifiers.

It improves the playability duration of the game. I would like to have all the rare rares that have the item mods I like for my character.

I would like to see the Ranger class fixed so they would have an advantage of being a archer. Right now, the Duelist the far superior build for a archer. Point to point (skill points), the ranger cannot catch up with the duelist.

Pretty bad when the character that is shown with a bow, is not really good at it as other characters!
Will you devs please do a security option "login from static ip" for those who are on static IP? Thats would be amazing!

I'm not sure to be in the good thread to ask my question.

I'm playing PoE on mac using the unofficial port. It works very well except for one thing.
Every time there are new effects, monsters or players in the game, there is a load time.

The issue is with wine, i think there is limited reserved memory and the game can crash or load all the time with a lot of effects (last boss is unplayable, i already have 2 crashes on last boss and in the dock with 6 players)

I know mac port is unofficial but i think mac user will apreciate an option to reduce graphical effect on weapon/spell impact on monsters for example.
It will consumme less memory and less cpu for wine ;) and in fact, your game will run on very small config.

I got this game a couple of days ago and love it so far.

My first and biggest complaint: Content!

Me and my friend beat the entire game in 2 sick days. Higher difficulty is cool and all but I'd like to see some new content and maps to explore added with each difficulty. I'm thinking like borderlands where there are many quests and areas, almost so many that you can't keep track of them.

Also, I would love for thre to be an open world area (preferably very large) that you could unlock in the normal league after beating the game, perhaps with randomly created quests or cycling quests that appeared based on your level. You could see other players there and party up with them etc.

You obviously haven't beaten the third difficulty yet. There's content... do some research before making suggestions that you've no knowledge about. There is a system in place after you beat the game on the third difficulty. There is also a planned 4th act, and there are statements all over the website and forums about how they plan to keep adding content. Don't just consume content; involve yourself with it.

And above all else... I can't re-iterate this enough: Research something before making suggestions. It only makes you look silly and newcomers that happen to read your post would get an ever so slight push to not play the game to see its end-game.
