UNABLE TO CONNECT TO INSTANCE

I haven't been able to even get to the twilight strand. The game continually gives me one of two error messages: Unable to connect to server or unable to connect to instance. I've tried everything for over an hour through both steam and the local client. Nothing will get me past the initial loading screen. Using the same laptop I've played the last 2 leagues on. Apple Mac Pro, M2 Max, Ventura 13.6.4.

I should also mention I've exhausted all server and graphic setting options.

Same here on a mac studio & steam.

On a mac studio M2: no ping on gateways: unable to connect to login server.
It's a bit “better” on an Intel Mac book: the log window finds the gateways and gives the pings. I can login, but if I try to create a new character for the current league the game crash. If I try to play in the standard league with an existing character, I'm disconnected: “Disconnected. Failed to connect to instance”. Then same problem if I try to login: no pings on any gateways: “Unable to connect to login serveur.” This seems to be a problem with Macs and version 3.25. Does anyone else have the same problem? Exact same issue on M3 Pro Macbook Pro with Steam client installed.
When I do make it to character select, it crashes out with Failed to connect to instance both on League and Standard. Unable to connect to login server when I don’t make it that far, with no ping on any gateways. Last edited by mer1en on Jul 26, 2024, 8:20:16 PM

I was able to create a “Settlers” Perso but if I try to play it => “Disconnected. Failed to connect to instance.”
