Pretty much my experience. Getting ganked by insanely fast flicker strike campers in the Terraces was not a lot of fun. I had two tries and abandoned the idea, it's obviously not my cup of tea.

I like the idea of cut-throat but playing a witch at lvl 2 and getting phase run + dual strike 1 hit me XD

I think regular cut-throat will be much better.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems some people were skipping quest mobs to level faster. If that's the case, maybe we could have a third category for how many of the quests had been completed?

Does Phase run really need 50% melee damage? The speed boost alone already makes it mandatory for pvp.

Seems weird to add PvM objectives to a PvP mode. However yes it's much faster leveling to skip many quests, maybe not really a category, but an XP or upgrade in reward on side quests to make them a little more worth it

Also, opportunities to gank someone questing.

There's also the possibility someone with bad luck needs a quest reward skill gem.

Yea, giving people a reason to quest would open more ganking spots, so rewarding them seems fine I just don't think it should be a whole category, same with just leveling shouldn't be. Things that promote pvp - good, things that promote avoiding pvp and just rushing ahead - bad.


Then again I'm just jealous I'm not a PvM stud like IMD, he too damn good.

I think it would be amusing if someone jumped someone doing Fargraves, and both of them got hosed in the process.

Would be fun to let someone go through the trouble of getting the quest item and unlocking him then coming in and stealing the quest and killing them ^ ^

i was a lvl 2 duelist with dual strike and i 1v3 some people the same lvl as me i was so happy i actually killed someone

It's pretty hard to tell anything about balance at this point. Most of the pvp is one sided ganking. Most of the players are probably really goddamn terrible at PvP. All of the PvP is either at really low lvls or super low lvls.

Really what we can tell is that some classes get better skillgem rewards in the first 90 minutes, but I don't know how much that would matter in anything but a 90 minute cutthroat ladder.

For example there is nothing in this test we can use to talk about possible PvP balance in default league arena pvp where everyone is high lvl and has access to every single gem.
