Poe Seems Poorly Optimized?

DXTory is a good software for fps limiting, OSD and video capture by the way.
VSync is really annoying at times and comes with side effects and increased gpu load.

Lol. Vsync does not increase gpu load. I have it on,I get 60 FPS constant baring really large mob groups on a GTX 670, GPU utilization at the moment is 50% at best.
I turn Vsync off and GPU load goes to 100% and temps ramp up as a result. Sure I get 200+ FPS but that doesn't help in large groups since it'll drop anyway and also causes screen tearing for me.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who prefers to never use vsync on any game unless I HAVE to. Vsync naturally adds input delay which I find noticable and would rather be able toplay without it.

if you have an high refresh rate, say 120hz,then it's good to keep it off, with a good game engine. i personally like to have it on because with a 60hz refresh rate i hate to see tearing. anyway for now keep it on with PoE,if you have input lag just switch triple buffering on.

I still find even with Adaptive Vsync and triple buffering on I get a somewhat sluggish input delay, even the smallest amount of delay is not acceptable for games like Dota and Counter Strike.

Another thing that leads me to believe that the game could use a serious overhaul for optimization is how I'm sitting town and no a single person is near me and nothing is going on my FPS is constantly spiking all over the place from 167 fps to 333 fps. It should maybe do this right when you load into the game but the FPS graph just goes crazy while standing still and nothing is moving.

If anyone is interested I found a way to enable SLI, don't think there's any noticable differences but it seems to take a lot of the stress off only one of my GPUs by spreading across the two of them.

Use the latest NVIDIA Inspector and search for the DragonMMORPG profile and theres an option to force SLI Enable and force two/three/four GPUs!

Still getting 30-50fps in ground fights with everything on Low with SLI enabled

try switching max prerendered frames to 0. default is 3,that should fix the input delay even more. i'd keep vsync on for the sake of your videocard.
