Our feelings about Beta Invite complaints
Well the problem is, while you say forum users have a better chance of getting in, that's just not true. Most randoms, at least 8/10 from what I have seen, are completely inactive. If people could actually see that forum goers are getting a better chance they might stop complaining.
Hell....look at the last guy to get a key today... R0kish... Signed up yesterday, no posts.. nadda... gets a key today.... meanwhile you have folks that have been active since 2010 not getting jack. I see the frustration... I am in no way saying that I personally deserve jack either.. I lurked for a long time before signing up recently... it is what it is.. but throw some of these vets a bone... And that pop quiz thing... it will just be a "who can search the forums the fastest contest" It will just piss off more people because they were too slow.... I don't know about the rest of you, but, IMO the transparency GGG is providing is phenomenal. I'm happy to see it even though I'm almost guarantied never to see the game on my pc until Open beta ;) Last edited by Lavacon#4216 on Aug 15, 2011, 9:50:45 PM

It's just frustration. All the complaining should really be considered as white noise.
No system of keyhandling would make everyone happy 'cept giving everyone access. As long as GGG gets the amount of valuable feedback they need to develop the game further I'm all good. Frustrated as hell, but good. :/ |

" This. Please do not listen to the whining. A large group of people is a horrible thing, which is exacerbated when you add in the anonymity afforded by the internet. This beta invite process brought me back to this game after registering back in September. The publicity alone is worth the relatively mild complaining on the forums. |

Chris, turn off the timer. Stop inviting people, etc - this will solve your problem of having way too much feedback.
Ignore the whiners. |
