Our feelings about Beta Invite complaints
I never seen a response to a game like this when it comes to beta testing. All the whining and crying, it's as simple as you either going to get in on closed beta or your not and if you think a team of 15 guys got time to read tidbits about why you should be in is not laughable, but makes me wonder why you shouldn't have your head examined. For the anger mongers that are out there complaining about inactive accounts or are offering their supposed "programming" expertise to the team I say go listen to the interview Chris had with the Diablo podcast. I think this indie studio not only has their screws tightened but know what's going on, and I think the entire community should appreciate that when it comes to finished product your voice matters. How many people here had a voice with the way WoW Cataclysm, or Wrath of the Lich King turned out. How many people here had a voice in the development of diablo 3. Appreciate what these guys have done what they have spent and what they are offering for nothing more than the cost of your isp connection.

Jeez, all of this whining. Any other developer would've just picked a 1000 people based on spec and location, sent out the e-mails and be done with it.
After all the care GGG have put into making things as fair as possible, continuing to pester them for invites is really childish. Hell, the most vocal people probably haven't even been in a beta before. I can already see them not reporting any bugs, whining that there is too little content and threatening to quit if their beta character is deleted before launch. |

There are going to be winners and losers in this debate. I feel the pain of the exist members who have not gotten into beta, trust me I'm one of them. Nothing frustrates me more than seeing a user who registers hours beforehand to get a beta key. At the same time Chris and GGG's logic is valid and are trying to their best to accommodate everyone. I don't agree how the closed beta has been handled but there isn't much to complaint because at the end of the day POE will be free to all. Everyone is anxious because they want to get first cracks at it.

" but why u mad tho? NotSorry: Bot d3 for cash, play POE all day
CaptainBurns: The game is just a means by which to kill things. |
|
" That is the whole problem, it's a long and slow procedure instead of a quick "you're in, you're not, end of story". |
|
" Here's the thing your chances of getting into that email list beta is smaller than what you have here. |
|
" You want to punish someone who realizes it's going to take a month or two to get a key, so doesn't decide to stare at the timer everyday? |
|
" No it isn't, because each hour that passes more people sign up, which makes your chances more unlikely. Your chances on the 10th were much better then your chances today. -Just saying- |

for all those out there that are complaining thaty they cannot get in I hear that Hello Kitty is accepting everyone and really wants players like you. It is not the end of the world if you dont get into the beta. just wait till it goes to general release. There are plenty of other games out there to keep you entertained until this one is open for all to play it. I will be here until it does and if I happen to get into the beta great if not I will wait like everyone else does and go play whatever floats my boat till then.
