Crafting Mirror of Kalandra - Theory

Has anyone obtained two identical rares to disprove the theory that they'll give a Mirror when vendored together?

If not, does anyone want to donate to the following experiment:

- Buy ilvl 16 amulets from Nessa in normal. (low ilvl reduces number of potencial mods).

- craft them into white +20 onyx amulets. (using the 'rearrange' technique with your trash skill gems)

- Transmute a big batch of them.

- From the result of this, select the most numerous identical mod to keep. (probably going to be 1% mana leech)

- use Alterations(or recraft into white +20 onyx) to make the rest match your selected mod.

- start Regaling. (keep all your results, as each different variant increases the chances of a hit with subsequent rolls)

I anticipate it will take no more than 50 regals to obtain a 2-mod rare with identical rare name and mods.

It appears that ilvl16 brings in quite a lot of extra mod options.

While they're not as easy to obtain, ilvl2 items should be a better starting point - as they have a far smaller set of possible modifiers.

Fix This ASAP please.We really need a recipe for this gem as its almost essential for improving your character(via gear) at high levels and they hardly ever drop.

Well, there are 3 ways to get to a good yellow item. One of them needs Obs of Scourings and Alchemy Orbs or Chaos Orbs, 1 needs plenty of Jeweler's Orb and even more importantly the mythical unique Orb of Fusing and only the last method takes Exalted Orbs.

I think I have got all the basic values for mods at the moment. I also know that the maxed value mods are still lacking a lot. However, I will wait 'till we have gotten closer to the open beta with trying to decifer this.

Well, he had spammed the message in about 100 consecutive posts. Would say one post is more than enough in an unrelated topic.

On topic: As far as I know 5 and 6 rares with same name has been tried some time back with no apparent bonus.
