The Exiled Sale Recipe Book (spoilers)

Thanks a lot for the recipes!
I noticed (probably as the last person on earth) that you can buy a white item with three linked sockets of all colors for one orb of alteration and sell that item right away for a chromatic orb (reforging the colors on an item). So basically you can turn one orb of alteration in one chromatic orb which seems to me as a great step forward.

Is that intended?
Is that even worth it or have i burned some good orbs of alterations?

That is definitely intended. The question is: What do you need the most: rerolling a blue items mods or rerolling the colour of the sockets on your items?
I do not think either will be worth much in general trade. Maybe chromatic orbs can be sold to lategame players with 4+ linked sockets after wasting jewelers orbs and fusing orbs, but that is a rather specific situation.
I appear to be living in "Romance Standard Time". That has to be good! :)
found this one: 5 flasks of the same type of magical quality - results in 1 new magical flask of the same type
I am wondering if other Exiles are having the same problem:

Cumulative 40% quality of any flasks (i.e. any combination of health, mana & hybrid)= glassblower bauble

However after hording flasks and getting a cumulative 80% i was unable to sell them for 2 glassblower baubles.

After trying various sequences in transferring them to the selling window, I observed that the game somehow "rearranges the sale" since a hybrid (17%) sold individually for 1 wisdom but when it was the last item place for sale in my 80% combination sale it sold for 2 wisdoms indicating that the items where rearranged.

Any thoughts?
It did not consider carry overs. so, if 4 flasks sum up to 43% of quality, the +3% are "lost" and not carried to the next set of flasks with summed 37%. And on top, sometimes(?) such situations lead to completely screwed rewards - you have to split the sets up and sell them one by one then to give proper results.

I always collect quality stuff to hit the 40% as close as possible.

I wnat to get a lot of alchemy orbs. How do i do that?

one way: Equipping items with IIR and IIQ.

Or bartering yellows with the same name or with IIR or IIQ bonuses for shards. So i have to identify all of the yellow items.
But is it worth it to identify the blue items as well?
I have more than enough wisdom scrolls, and dont know if i can buy cool stuff with those.

EDIT: I love that system! I love getting used to it and trying to find the best way for me.

some higher tier affixes of item aquisation (+%rarity and quantity) gave alchemy shards on sale when the mod is maxed. So its at least worth a try as long as you have more then enough id scrolls. Other stuff worth a look: flasks with 'surgeon' mod give one alchemy shard too.

Easiest way is to use your stash to store rares and try to trade 1:1 with other players, name doubles are happening relatively frequent.

Recipe: 1 rare, 1 magic and 1 normal of same base type and with 20% quality
Reward: 1 Orb of Alchemy
Finder: Phowl

is this ocmbined quality 20% or all 3 have 20% quality individually? That's kinda rough.

Let a man walk alone -
Let him commit no sin.
Let him bear few wishes,
Like an elephant in the forest.
Ihavre trirf to set 20% qual on the normal .. and I did not get the alch orb.

each of them has to have the maxed quality.
