It is percentage based, so when you're on 1/1 hp with CI, it counts as full HP, so no, you wont get any bonus for low life abilities

I believe you are "low on life" when below 35% of your max life. So it is impossible to be low on life with chaos inoculation, unless you are dead.

I have two questions:

1) since the last patch there has been a diffrence between passive skills that effect area skills and aura's. Does this mean that "Blast Radius" no longer has an effect over aura's?


2) Does the skill Firestorm benefit from skills that increase area of effect like "blast Radius"? and if so in which way. Does the same damage get spread out over a larger area thus weakening the damage per square inch?

How does Faster cast rate work with firestorm? it seems like firestorm has a castlock. Will this get shortened with faster cast rates?

answer to both numbered questions is: yes normal AoE boosts work on auras, and firestorm gets both a spread increase and the burst size increase (tested with a legacy that had +60% AoE). so as far as firestorm goes, it's a mixed review saddly/gladdly.

what do you mean by castlock though? a delay/freeze after the casting? (aftercast) if so then answer is yes based on other skills with an awkward delay or startup.

How is it a mixed review? if both the spread increase as the burst size increases the damage per square inch should remain?

With castlock I mean cast delay yes. How effective is a high % faster cast rate on firestorm?
