I've asked about Damage Effectiveness previously but there's still 1 point I'm not clear on.
If a skill does 5-10 damage and has 50% Damage Effectiveness listed on it, does that effectiveness reduction apply to the BASE LISTED damage of the skill? (not just supports/passives/gear). So that same 5-10 skill is actually 2-5, correct? |____________ G . L . O . W . Y . R . Damage Effectiveness applies to all damage currently, so, yes.
They're planning to rework the descriptions so the Damage Effectiveness comes pre-calculated, some day. :P |

Does the %more spell damage from Pain Attunement apply to spells cast by totems?

Hi everyone, I'm still new and figuring stuff out. This thread is fantastic! As I now know a player character can evade a critical hit (downgrading it to a normal hit) I'd like to know if enemy mobs can evade criteria as well as this will have an impact on dps calculations and whether I need more accuracy, critical chance, or critical damage to maintain or improve my damage output over time.
For example, say I have 80%chance to hit and 10% chance to crit: If mobs CAN evade crits : I take 100 swings, of which 80 hit. Of those 80, 10% roll crits, so 8. Of those 8, only 80% stay as crits, so 6. 100 swings = 74 normal hits + 6 crits. If mobs CANNOT evade crits : I make 100 swings of which 80 hit. Of these 80, the same 8 roll crits and stay crits. 100 swings = 72 normal hits + 8 crits. Does anyone know? |

can't find out how to trade ingame with someone in your party when you're in a level instance. right klicking on the partner in social tab didn't bring up the trade option as it does when you're in town.

So whats up with map respawn? Im waiting 15 min for warehouse sewers (need item for Q) and still got map explored and mobs killed - how long i need to wait?

@Bob, monster can evade crit, and your formula is correct.
@geradon, You can trade from clicking through the user name in chat; social channel (party) might work as well. @nevarion you can ctrl + click on instance entrace (or WP) from town or adjacent instance to create a new one without waiting for re-spawn. Alice_of_Wraeclast - Dagger CI Witch

" If I may ask, why are block and dodge managed differently? I find your solution for evasion absolutely brilliant, and it puzzles me that someone relying on block/dodge would still be subject to favourable/adverse streaks of luck (ie a 1% block chance glass canon could block 10 Brutus hits in a row and win, whilst a 75% block chance tank could be hit 10 times in a row and die. Let everyone benefit from the evasion solution! (I am still traumatised from DAoC or BG2 where I had really bad luck streaks :( ) |

Mark mentioned somewhere else that the reason is that Block and Dodge don't need entropy to be viable and it would only require excessive processing, having to track the entropy values of all three of them at the same time.
