Did you remove /oos or fix desync?
After today's patch, my experience has pretty much been unstable sessions, desync, and rubberbanding. So I'll continue my SC character, and wait for open beta to get better.
On another note, and keeping in mind that I'm aware that GGG is pretty damn small when it comes to resources, I hope that desync and animation tech is right after server stability. I hit F1 today and attempted a few glacial hammers, and my ping turned into a cityscape. I'd say that many of the mele animations need to be less extravagant, and possibly turned into basic attack modifiers where applicable, since I don't think animation trumps stability. |

The naysayers in this thread are just so counterproductive...I'd be surprised is Chris doesn't have a severe concussion if he's taken the time to actually read some of these complaints and blind assumptions.

" I had a bout 6 in a spam of 10mns... This game apparently CANNOT handle any map with doorways... It's just a freaking desync fiesta. Top it off, the pathing apparently goes to shit too around doorways... Any "fast" type mob + doorways = DESYNCS Sidenote... Here's another easy way to show how bad the desyncs are in this game. Pick a trap skill and when you use it, make sure you have your mouse over the mob... It will autotoss it to where the mob "actually" is, it's literally hysterical as shit watching traps, fly backwards behind you, or over cliffs, or down stairs to where the mob actually is then blowing up what seems like air and then you see the mob die 50 feet away, yet loot drops back where the trap was. " I can do you even better. I was throwing traps and they flew out from the top middle of my screen. apparently I was standing on a complete different location than the client was showing me. It's not just mobs that get heavy desync. And to add to the closed map discussion this was on the broken bridge in the middle of the map. Complete open terrain and massive desync after just 2min playing. I hope they post the mechanics on how the game and syncing works soon, really curious to find out more. Seem to strange to me that I have friends playing the game with almost no noticeable sync issues at all and friends that do. And everyone that does has the same provider as me. Might be just a coincidence but that's one odd coincidence :P |

" Ya the traps man, they will really show you how bad the desyncs are in this game... Also picking Resolute Technique as well, so noticeable when you're Ground Slamming a cluster of 10 mobs, but apparently hitting none. Which only the delusional "defenders" will try to tell you the mobs are evading. I honestly think the few geniuses who still try to claim everything's perfect, somehow force themselves to believe that. From my very limited knowledge, having the game go out of sync is a way to avoid delay (latency). This is why you character moves and uses skills right when you tell them to. They could, alternatively, make it so that you never desynced, but then your latency would highly affect your character's reaction time.
For example, in Warcraft 3, the game uses delay instead of desyncing to handle latency. This means if you are playing a game and you have a high ping (high latency) your units won't respond instantly to your commands, there might be a half second delay, sometimes up to 2 seconds in a very high ping game. |

But even if it did, you're telling me, this company decided to go completely against what 99% of the companies that make online games have done in the last 10 years? Everyone knows what latency does... Everyone who's played Dota/Hon/LoL, or any other online game that requires quick reactions. A formula which works for 99% of online games... And what we got is... A game filled with constant, never ending desyncs. Which are by far worse than playing with say 300ms... I've played Dota/LoL/HoN on Euro and Asia servers... I've played with 300-400 ping before, you adjust. You can't adjust to this desync shit... It completely ruins the entire focus of an arpg. This is why I like this game...GGG is upfront letting us know what is going on...this doesn't happen anymore with the big companies.

Desync is crazy atm.
Using quicksilver flask puts me usually half screen aways from the position i see on my screen. And it doesnt happen once or twice per map,it happens every time i use flask and touch wall. I use 3 trap gems and the traps are flying from half screen away almost every time,i use 3-4 portal scrolls on harder maps to get synced. Its much much worse than what it used to be. IGN:Vraarz
