Nerf Voidbearer

I'm fine with their damage and even stun lock as a squishy witch on merciless. Just remove the multiple projectiles one. It lags me (#1 complaint, can't react) and the damage is too high.
Beyond league.
i have to say that the damage is insane but in the other hand , if u are grouping its more of a challenge so i enjoy it , but if we talk about solo... rangers can do fine with decoy totems , bear traps without any problem, even rare ones, but if they are melee they have serious issues.

Voidbearers are fine imo. If the docks wouldn´t lag like I had a 56k modem connection they would even be too easy. I mean, their hp pool is so ridiculously low they are real glascannons. They propose a serious threat but can be dealt with fairly easy. I think they are well balanced. NN change here...

Funny story, melee characters moving around the map doesn't actually help much because we're playing melee.

Now, try and explain to me how I should play a game like Path of Exile, a game with the most horrifying skill tree of all time, specifically in a way that YOU think I should play it. I'm not saying I should be able to compete in PvP or really high end dungeons if I don't feel like optimizing at all, but this isn't PvP or a really high end dungeon. It's a basic plot mission. It's required to progress in the game.

Honestly, I don't have much of a problem with the normal Voidbearers. Their damage is high enough that I can't tank a whole swarm of them, I have to play around them, coralling them into less dangerous mobs so I can Cleave Heal on them and a group of less deadly enemies. That's fine.

This is much more difficult to do against Magic/Rare Voidbearers. Additional Projectiles alone makes them nearly impossible to deal with if you're melee.

I got a Rare with Additional Projectiles, Haste aura, double damage, and critical strike.

It could kill me mid swing.

I have specced a tank Marauder.

This is not a thing that should happen.

Luckily that character wasn't in Hardcore mode otherwise I'd have been kinda mad that something so obviously broken had walked over to one shot me.

Please stop saying "well rangers can do it lol" and pretending this isn't because ranged is broken in this game. This isn't a "challenge" for melee. It's borderline impossible.

Gravicius is a challenge for melee. A Voidbearer with Additional Projectiles is broken.
Protip : get evasion, get arrow dodging.
While Acrobatics is really bad in most case, I can facetank (aka melee, not ranged) a multiprojectile voidbearer without problem with my evasion based ranger (while all my other chars get destroyed...)

Pls dont nerf Voidbearers. I like them how they are. If you really nerf them, pls dont nerf their dmg but their hp or range or something.

Im looking forward to meet them in merciless with 3.5k hp, 30% spellblock and 87% max resi without ruby flasks :D.
IMO, Remove their ability to turn in place while firing their breath, then allow them to stop their attack more often to readjust their position to start again.

This would make it so that Melee can circle around them more easily and having to time their attacks to get hits in before it adjusts its position to fire a new stream, and it would also cause them to want to chase after ranged characters more.

If you put on your full plate mail, and I throw hundreds of toothpicks at you, you'll basically not feel it.

If someone catapults a whole tree at you, don't expect the Armour to prevent as much of the damage.

Also, how many people take on Voidbearers without Ruby Flasks?
I've started always carrying a ruby flask with me whenever I run Docks and my Voidbearer-death-count has plummeted.
Traps, traps, traps!

Just because you're melee, it doesn't mean that all your problems are solvable with a sword. Or that you shouldn't kite dangerous mobs.

Traps are one of the best & coolest utility skills in this game!
